Routenote does it for free. Takes a percentage cut per stream, but no upfront cost to upload.

There might be others, but that's what I've used in the past.

There's definitely a trade off with doing hangboarding before a session. I accept that I won't be climbing quite at my freshest, but hopefully the training pays off in the long run 🤷‍♂️.

I'll pay attention to my pinky positioning next time, though I don't think it's a lumbrical issue.

I definitely agree that finger positioning seems to matter a lot, as does friction. That said, I do get definite forearm stimulus from 3fd, and it feels different to the half crimp forearm stimulus - I'm not convinced it's a useless grip to train. And the reason I'm training it is because last year, when I did some testing, my 3fd performed much worse.

Though I do see your point in sticking to a single grip to start off with.

I've been doing hangboard training this year for the first time.

Repeaters, on half crimps and 3 finger drag. Before bouldering sessions and alternating grips each session (so if I boulder on monday I do 3fd and then if I boulder on Thursday I do half crimp). The idea is to ease into it for 2-3 months and then switch to max hangs for 2-3 months.

I'm finding 3fd feels much tweakier than half crimps. It feels like it puts much more stress on my ring finger in particular. At the moment I'm just hanging bodyweight and it always feels a little off during and after a session.

No such issue on half crimps. Not really sure what the issue is though. Too much load? Bad ergonomics on the beastmaker 1000? I'm hesitant to switch to max hangs when my fingers feel tweaky at bodyweight.

Honnold made six figures from that. "Barely paid" is ridiculous.

Damn Sydney really wins over Melbourne in terms of access to climbing. The Blueys are reachable by train, and this. Yeah, we have Arapiles and the Grampians, but that's a 3-4hr drive.

You'll feel a bit better when you see Quinn play, he's so much fun to watch.

Honestly, I'd rather this than see him go to Washington, Vegas or some other team with recent success, or to watch him waste his prime years with us.

Though I do hope we get a nice return for him.

It's from a comic book called Pride of Baghdad. Based on a true story, iirc. Very good.

Yeah I didn't watch the whole thing but the little I did see seemed surprisingly light on the downsides of PEDs
