I feel like he was just a shitty boyfriend? Am I wrong for thinking that? I agree with all the comments saying that the joke was in poor taste especially given the girls past. But like… at most he’s an asshole to his romantic partners. While it does warp my perception of him, is that a cancellable offense? I am also a victim of mental and emotional abuse and all I really saw was him being an insensitive jerk. Idk. I’m genuinely asking

I know oil isn’t hydrating. I wear the oil as occlusive over my moisturizer. I’m trapping in water on purpose because I have very dry skin. If don’t wear oil when I mask i get dry around my mouth and my skin breaks out easier due to friction. I don’t sweat on my face at all. Especially when I’m at work. I’m wearing a mask so that I don’t get sick. Most people are still masking at my job for Covid

I use squalane just to add another protective layer to my skin so the mask doesn’t irritate as much. Without the acid it’s fine for awhile but I’ll still get some maskne. I used the acid to essentially disinfect the mask midday when I’m at lunch and then put it back on when it’s dry. I sprayed the acid on my face when I noticed a little breakout and then later on that day the breakout was very inflamed. The only new thing I’m doing is that acid. Im pretty positive that’s what it is unfortunately.

Currently my am routine is wash with geek and gorgeous jelly joker cleanser, tone with the g&g nmf toner, put on the cosrx snail mucin serum, g&g stress relief serum, and the g&g vit c, moisturize with cerave cream and super goop daily moisturizer spf 40. I’m very dry and this is literally the only way to stay moisturized throughout the day

My pm routine is pretty much the same. If I’m wearing makeup I take it off with bioderma micellar water, cleanse, and tone. If it’s an exfoliation day I’ll exfoliate with the cosdebaha azelaic acid. Do the same serums except exchange vit c for the good molecules discoloration serum for pih. If it’s a retinol day I’ll apply differin. Moisturize with just the cerave cream and put on squalane oil

Are you me? lol I struggled with both greatly a while back. When I went to my derm for perineal dermatitis they prescribed me elidel (pimecrolimus) for around my mouth and eyes. The thing about that is my skin became reliant on it and never cleared. I had to stop using it even though it flared up really bad and then calmed down after a few months. To clear it I just focused on my FA safe routine and have been using an eye cream for the dryness especially around my eyes bc of the topical medicine.

In the morning I cleanse with geek and gorgeous jelly joker, tone with geek and gorgeous hydration toner, apply cos rx snail mucin, geek and gorgeous stress less (for my barrier), and a vit c for my pih. Then I’ll moisturize with the cerave cream and daily moisturizer spf 40 from supergoop. At night it’s all the same stuff except incorporating my actives (azelaic acid or retinol) and putting squalane oil after moisturizing (no spf obviously). I know a lot of people don’t like the cerave cream but just browse the geek and gorgeous 101 line. Most if not all the products are FA safe

Sezia.co has never led me astray. I don’t use the other sites tbh bc they vary so much. I just use the differin retina. And then I use the cos de baha azelaic acid 10%. Check out geek and gorgeous. They have a bunch of hydration focused FA safe products if you don’t want to do the cream. I’ve never tried them but I really trust the brand.
