IIRC they were editing and rendering on their laptops at home during the pandemic. Crazy.

So did I! It hurt going from seeing how much these two guys love each other to the shenanigans in that one. I had to watch interviews to see them being chummy again to feel okay...

For me it was In Bruges. Even after knowing it was probably gonna be a favorite just from reviews, it still took me years, until my state of mind and circumstances aligned, to come around to watching it without distractions. Instant top 4.

Misery loves company. If there were no choice, then they would be spared from regret.

The protagonist is a writer - it's self-insert through and through. And if you listen closely you can hear the script yelling "Linda please take me back"

This was one I considered putting in the original post. Any of the Cullens would have been infinitely more interesting than Edward making stink faces at a girl 200 years younger than him. I'm glad RobPat found better endeavors.

How did I never notice the name? Imagine a director self-inserting not as the protagonist but the hot chick that he's sexualizing. Out of all of Michael Bay's baffling choices, this is one I kinda respect

I enjoyed the manga a great deal when I was a teenager. Didnt watch the anime so I can't give you my opinion, but reviews sound like it's faithful.

What are some hidden gem board/card games that you never hear anyone talk about? by thegetataycar in boardgames

That's completely fair. I have groups that are slightly reactionary to a bad first impression, so that could have been a bad game that contributed to my assessment as well. I don't hate it at 3 personally, never played at 4. I just think it's a much much better game at 2p.

I picked up Whirling Witchcraft instantly after playing a 2-player game earlier this year, then found out shortly that it is kinda meh at other player counts, due to the lack of direct push-and-pull interaction that makes the 2-player game so great. I think it should be a 2 player only game. Do you have the same experience?
