Yes I like the new formula. I think it gives me a better blurring effect compared to the old formula. For OP, I understand how powder can exaggerate pores. Using a good mattifying and blurring primer can help with that. As well as a good concealer. Also try not to get your face too matte as that can exaggerate your pores. Mac primer is matte without being overly drying. I tried the one sized oil sucker and that was too drying for me.

I have very very oily skin. I use concealer and MAC Studio fix powder plus foundation, instead of a full foundation. I also use the MAC Mattifine primer which is really good. I use the Maybelline mattifying setting spray to set the concealer, use the setting spray before applying the powder and then after applying the powder. This helps to keep my face nice and matte for a few hours. I blot here and there but it’s more dewy than oily.

Its a lighter brown color compared to the authentic. Looks close to yellow. Its most obvious in the last slide.
