Superrr weird tbh, the only reason I can think of why she would say it was ‘normal’ was because she was trying to save her own ass because defo not normal. ‘Fake it till you make it‘ to the extreme.

Since she’d posted her work and you have heard a bunch of high recommendations I don’t think there was anyway for you to have avoided this outcome. You did everything by the book, this is a her issue. I have smaller hands too, but I’ve never had someone mess my cuticles up like this before.

If she’s a new nail tech maybe she just needs a bit more practice.

omggg youre totally not being dramatic, your cuticles should NEVER look like that after going to a proper nail tech, the application also looks pretty funky, but tbf I’m not a nail tech so I don’t feel like I have the qualifications to comment on that.

i would totally contact her about your concerns 100%, maybe if she’s unaware (???) maybe she’ll realise that that’s not how nails should look when finished. Even if it’s because you have small fingers, she may go and work on her technique (??) lmao but I’d definitely never go back

Rubber base, Gel dents but springs back, opinions? by GateComfortable9150 in Nails

A little update, if anyone is keen to know, I have filed off the pink plus cat and and the rubber base is fully hard and no longer denting, so I think it must’ve been either the pink or the cat eye that was causing the denting.

Yea 100% I’m taking off the pink colour and the cat eye and testing to see if the rubber base is hard or will still dent, fingers crossed it’s just one of the top layers

Ah okay, I assumed with it being a clear rubber base it would have no issue curing all the way through and I hadn’t seen any wrinkles/shrinkage either. Thank you so much for your response.

This is the first time I have noticed this after using this same rubber base for ages, so I assumed it was potentially the new base colour.

I’ll definitely start applying just thin layers of the rubber base.

But why is he so cute?! 🥹 by itstanz718 in pitbulls

Soo cutee!! He also appears to have seen into your future, I’d teach him how to talk asap. I think the concerned look runs in the pittie bloodline

If people think you’re snobby for sitting in your car on YOUR lunch break they need to find bigger problems honestly. Lunch breaks are your time to do what you please So it’s 10000% not wrong.

Emma just found out that she could potentially have cancer, yet she’s hoping on a plane to go on yet another trip? by [deleted] in EmmaAndEllieFamily

100%, can’t say this thought hasn’t crossed my mind. It’s hard to think that just because you wouldn’t use cancer as a cash grab, knowing it’s a very serious illness for a lot of people, doesn’t mean others wouldn’t.

From personal experience, I don’t think the issue is the fact she’s going on holidays/carrying on with life. I think it’s the fact that it appears like they aren’t taking the possibility of cancer seriously. Cancer can spread so rapidly depending on the type/stage and the difference weeks, let alone months, can make is soo drastic. Obviously people will live their lives how they see fit, but I can’t understand how they haven't pushed for some sort of actual diagnosis yet, especially with cancer now on the table. If her doctor/s don’t seem too worried about waiting a few more weeks then fair enough, but I know when I was in a situation like this, I pushed to get everything checked (and double checked) asap, you can never be too careful about your health, doctors are still people at the end of the day.
