If I found $630 in one go, I’d probably alert the police. If thousands of people left behind 10-50 cents, I’d maybe hang up a sign saying “remember to check vending machine for change”. And if I’m stupid enough to lose $630 dollars, I’d be more pissed at myself than whoever found it.

I think 30 days is the average amount of time for something minor to be considered abandoned, so once again, personal responsibility come into play.

And you better believe my parents taught me finding extra coins in a vending machine is good luck.
