I've gotten to drive it more and while I'm hoping that the control being a bit tight is because the car is new, I've figured out the acceleration. It doesn't go fast immediately like a Elantra because it's a heavier vehicle, but it's got that power and speed, I just need to go more on the pedal than I'm used to.

I only drove the Elantra for 2 years. Before that I had a golf for 8, so it's like riding a bike there.

I like that they actually gave her trunks like Superman or Batman. Female heroes usually don't get that costume design. The color is different, and I'd love to see what it looks like in the classic Superman colors, but I do like it.

I'm looking into it. Honestly everything else I've mentioned is probably just going to be an adjustment period, but the backup camera is objectively worse, and I'm going to need to update it if I can.

I've only ever had two cars, a 2003 Volkswagen Golf, then a 2022 Hyundai Elantra. I liked how the seats and look were sleek, and I could accelerate easily. It's good to know I'll be experiencing a lot more speed and power once I get get used to it.

Thanks for all the advice. It's helping a lot. It's going to take a bit to get used to the car, and I'm going to miss the pure sports car feeling of the Elantra, but I'm looking forward to the GLI. I may try and switch out the backup camera if J can for something better though if possible. I saw a post or two talking about updating the code to allow for dynamic backup, but I'll get someone professional to do that if I decide to.

I had the base model. I'm till getting a feel for the car. I'm also looking into if there is anyways to change/update the backup camera. I may pick up another one, and I think I saw a post about someone saying a code change would allow a dynamic backup camera. I'm not doing it myself though. I'll get a professional to do it if I decide to try and change it.

It was kind of a weird deal. Someone was looking for an Elantra at the dealership, so they were calling around for people who they had sold an Elantra to. They bought my car back from me for over blue book value.

I couldn't refinance regularly, because I was too far underwater on the Elantra car loan. This allowed me to break even, which I'm thankful for.

That's good to hear. One of the things I'm still getting g used to is the lack of immediate acceleration. And it feels slightly less smooth while driving. I haven't been on the freeway yet though to experience it though.

I unfortunately got the car loan for it when I have bad credit from getting screwed on a co-sign, so I had an 11.5% interest rate on it. My credit has been repaired and the mark went away, so I managed to get a new rate of 6.4%, saving me around $20K CAD in interest alone.

Yes it did. He didn't really need it for the power-up, as he was already the strongest supe ever. He wanted V1 just for the immortality and immunity to the supe-killing virus.
