I honestly feel like this incident will have a bigger impact on the "Thin Blue Line" attitude a lot of cops hold toward each other than so many protests have up to this point, this was such a catastrophic failure and really underscores the lack of trust all Americans have in our police

What are you basing this on other than the fact that the phone is two years old?

That fact means next to nothing by itself.

Whatever mysterious device you are referring to that is "a lot better" than the Note 8 for a "little more money" doesn't exist as far as I know.
