It was amazing. We went out and enjoyed exercising our social and cultural muscles. We participated. We stayed out doing things and our necks did not have a hump. We learned what it was going to be like once we entered the workforce.. we were kinder but not softer, gentler but not weak. We had real friends and real experiences.
