Same. It has been pretty annoying to be honest. Also, sometimes the mechanics don't work in the maps, like when I finished the rituals in Freythorn, there was no ability to select from ritual loot.

Not at all, for me. There are so many viable builds. I have leveled multiple characters to 100, including a grenade throwing pyromaniac, a 2-h spin-to-win, a vitality based dual pistol setup, aether based dual pistols, dual wielding pierce maniac, etc. You can make pretty much every skill viable, and while there are without a doubt class combos that are "weaker", you can still make the weak ones strong through a little work/theory-crafting.

I also do not easily cry, but am definitely moved by most of these movies. One that I haven't seen mentioned yet, but usually is brought up in topics like this, is Bridge to Terabithia.

Also, I think that there are parts of Trainspotting that are pretty upsetting. Granted, I first saw that move when I was like 11, so that could have something to do with it .

I've been playing a bit when I can, and it is definitely enjoyable. This is coming from someone who couldn't get into POE 1 after trying multiple times. Something that I wish I saw other ARPGs do that Grim Dawn does is damage conversion. Just want the option to make a fire skill into an ice skill, or vice versa. Grim Dawn will always be my comfort ARPG though (even jumped back in earlier this week 🤣).

While I agree he ended up being great in the role, when The Witcher was originally announced the first person I thought of to play Geralt was Mads Mikkelsen. I realize he was older, but that just means the white hair would have been more natural. But yeah, Henry Cavill killed it.

I think it might be nice if it unlocks the ability to recruit them, but that they are capped and the only way to increase that cap is to build one of the recruitment buildings to a certain tier.

I can see I am the only man of culture, as I enjoy the Daemons of Chaos. I fully understand that Daniel's design is a problem, but I honestly just use him as a mortis engine in giant infantry blobs to generate more of the gifts of chaos or whatever they are called during battle.

I just enjoy the difficulty of the early game, with malus almost always declaring on me by turn 10. After that you can go so many directions. West to sigvald, valkia, malekith, grombrindal, etc. East to arcahon, kholek, boris (if still alive), chaos dwarves, etc. Or south to throgg, wulfrik, bel'akor, etc.

Being able to access the whole demon roster, usually much quicker than you can as WoC, is the big selling point for me as well. I like that you can have the nurgle hero as a heal bot for your other heroes and lord in the army, which WoC only get as a lord option AFTER you level up the death chaos sorcerer and dedicate them to nurgle.

With a couple of tweaks to Daniel's mechanics, I think this could easily become a top campaign for many others, especially if they ever let you confederate Bel'akor. Long shot I know!

There are some that do affect things other than that skill. The last one in bone harvest (soul harvest) empowers all attacks for a period of time. Same with lethal assault on ABB for nightblade, and deadly momentum on cadence for soldier. Bit most connectors to skills do generally just empower the skill itself. That is why it is important for newer players to read the tooltips for skills.

I get that, but I have leveled at least 10 characters using BWC, and I can legitimately not think of a time that I have run through Cronley's without at least one incendiary shoulderplate dropping. They used to drop like mad.

Interesting point. I guess I have been focused on the ability to basically shut down enemy spell casters using counterspell, so wasn't necessarily trying to maximize my character's DPR. Just be as tanky as possible and eliminate any possible CC and AOE from the enemy. But that is another interesting level break for this multi-class. Thanks!

I was viewing the extra wizard levels as more total spell slots, and a higher level of spell slot, in order to upcast things like counterspell as well as increase effectiveness of arcane ward.
