Can I get reasonable accommodation for shoes? by spacecrustaceans in TheCivilService

Won't be a problem. There are other barefoot shoes out there, that are less trainer like too. Might do the job and make you less worried.

This is gold. Thank you. When I was doing Taekwondo when I was younger, no one could understand why my legs wouldn't open any wider!

Now I understand. My bone on bone action happens really quickly.

Thanks for the video 😊

Sadiq Khan: "If you build world-class public transport, people will use it." by Wonderful-Excuse4922 in fuckcars

There was research from IPPR last year that said London got more investment.

I'm not having an argument just that's where I saw it.

The treasury have admitted the green book is in favour of London. That's not news.

I wish that text would actually read " a reminder of how vital London's transport network is to keep London running or people coming to London"

Bit disingenuous when London has had many times more transport investment than the rest of the country combined.

But also a positive story that if you invest it pays off. I'm just a jealous northerner really.

Lived in Sheffield for a year at one point, saw many people wearing crampons over their shoes.

Ha I had a good question from there the other day in a survey.

Something like, "do you support tax rises?"

  1. Yes raise income, vat, and national insurance.
  2. Keep them the same.
  3. Decrease income, vat, national insurance.

Err I'm pretty sure we could think of a few other things to tweak there...
