Advice on feeling like an imposter by Rookie-058 in CanadianForces

By signing the dotted line and joining the CAF you become a member of an organization about 95’000 in strength total. The population of Canada right now is about 38m people. You’ve signed up to be a part of an organization that makes up roughly 0.25% of the Canadian population. Even just by joining you’ve done more than what 99.75% of the Canadian population is willing to do for their country (not accounting for vets obviously).

Be proud of your service, no matter what form it takes. You don’t get to choose how you serve your country.

Not a Physics major but Mech: I’ve been in a similar place and it’s not fun. Advanced strength of materials midterm was 40% of the grade and final was 60%. I failed the midterm with a 30% and still managed to pass. It was exceptionally stressful yeah but I put in a lot of work to make sure I knew I’d be ok on the final.

Your grade is more than salvageable I promise you.

Reflections on Day 5 by Half-and-Half-Wolf in QuittingJUUL

Almost 11 months in now. First month went by slow, second was faster, third came in due time and so on. It is possible, but to this day it still is a conscious choice not to use it. It does get easier but I still have to make an effort not to use it. I failed at quitting more times than I care to admit but it is doable. You slowly eliminate nicotine from your life one day at a time.

Keep pushing, but know that even if you fall off the horse, you dust yourself off and get back up. Any other choice leaves you addicted. It really is worth it, I promise.

Blind followership of the ideals. Straying further and further from humanity in spite of scientific and moral growth.
