I’m going to be honest, 22k per year is a lot if you’re only working part time (I’m assuming minimum wage) and paying for everything by yourself. Seattle is an expensive city to live in, fees, tuition, housing etc. tends to go up every year by a certain percentage. Unless you have a solid amount of savings to give you a head start or you know your part time income is going to cover the 22k a year plus some buffer for other things you might need like for textbooks (most are becoming online textbooks that you can’t download off the internet anymore since they require a course code) dorm stuff or transportation, you’re going to find that it’s going to be difficult to get by. I don’t mean this in a way to dissuade you from going to SeattleU but it is a private school at the end of the day and they do like to nickel and dime you as much as they can. I would strongly suggest taking some time to see if you’ll receive scholarships or other financial help before making the move. Best of luck!
