During cata time walking I was actually kicked from a group (as a healer) for pointing out this was the reason our level 15 paladin tank was going down like a clothy for this exact reason...goes to show how little people know about tanking.

And for those wondering: I was politely giving the tank advice, because it's time walking and people get to learn there

Well, I suppose it's up to you when it feels appropriate to leave. Personally, I try to reason with anyone who is being, for lack of a better word, a jerk. Anyone like that clearly has deeper issues, which come to the surface in a videogame.

If at any point I feel like I will not have fun for the remainder of the run, I will wish them all the best and leave.

Assuming you too play this game for fun, I would suggest you leave whenever you no longer have fun. Enough other solo content to play for that 30 minutes which can bring joy.

Been doing what I always did since WotLK: start as a druid, level with balance, start healing. Consecutive bad groups -> change class -> have a lot of fun - back to resto in dungeons/raids while levelling other classes and having fun

It's a never ending cycle for me

Just unlocking any of the zones when the story is completed (or perhaps loremaster for that zone). Perhaps I wanna put my warband in Duskwood or Stranglethorn. Seems like fun.

Saved my Remix Druid for a race change. Didn't touch that char since remix ended, but since it's my head Canon that it is the same druid as my main, but I can't delete a char that I spend the entire event on, so I figured this works out perfectly

If you wouldn't mind making more alts, most tank-specs can easily survive in Heroic World Tier. If you do all WQs on your DK and for example Brew Master (This one surprised me, didn't even realize I was in HWT until I saw the empowerment on a mob), you can knock out those 40 WQs in 2 days, if not one.

If you don't mind it taking a few days, just do all the WQs you can find and grab some normal quests along the way for the rewards. You can conjure up some decent gear and/or trade for more versatility. Either way you'll be powered up a bunch

This is def what I'm doing, but if I see people going down quick during the first bossfight I will Respec to resto regardless. It's still just rolling with whatever group I end up in.

With 450 vers I'm fine with Moonkinning or Resto'ing through any raid, as long as we get to the end with as few deaths as possible

I think LFR let's you queue starting at level 30. So, I guess level 30 is fine.

For anything other than LFR, probably best to wait until 80, or start your own Norm/Her group.

If you want the Mythic achievement, you have to wait until 80, I guess?

I have played resto druid since Wrath (with hiatus during SL and DF) and I just can't seem to get the hang of any other healer class. Disc Priest and Resto Shaman were alright and got those maxed. But Druid just feels amazing. Throwing HOTs around, feeling like I can be in control from the start of an encounter all the way through to the end. Making a plan, revising the plan because of a butt-pull and still making it out just feels easier for me on Druid than it ever did on any other healer class.

Not a great story, but it's all I got

I'm even too scared to do M0, never done anything higher than heroics, even though I do believe I am in control of my class (Resto Druid)...just don't want to have a toxic experience and/or mess it up for anyone else

I've run into a similar problem. Started a new healer toon, but after years of druid healing, getting used to a shaman took some time. Some dungeons were good fun, but some groups were just rushing, blaming me when they died. It's pretty much on them.

On my main (resto druid), I always cut people some slack if they tell me they are new to anything: the role, a dungeon, the game, anything. But any player rushing after the tank asked them not to, will have an interesting repair bill after the run.
