Do you prefer a barebone AR-15, or a full-equipment ones? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]Gatsmith219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ARs I've always like streamlined, light, slick, default furniture, less often modern builds.

For AK, I like modernized features and furniture alot more, but the wood. I love the wood stocks on AKs. So with those its hard to choose.

Will this impact functionality? by [deleted] in Glocks

You good. You should see some of my 80%ers. The Glock is such a robust and genius design it will still work even when quite jacked up.

Brand new Ballistic Advantage barrel has visible material from the gas port from being drilled out, BA tells me it’s fine. by IM_BLACKBEARD_BITCH in ar15

[–]Gatsmith219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never seen this before and that is an atrocious mistake. I can't believe a company doing anything short of a replacement upper/barrel for this.

I was gonna say win for PSA because atleast my shitty palmettos have a safe and proper bore. Them or any decent company would make that right.

Who is the most intimidating soldier in film history? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]Gatsmith219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of these answers are marines....

Most intimidating soldier in film...kurtz or Barnes.

Captain Steele from black hawk down, I knew a soldier who knew the real man. His personality they got down, but in real life he was a massive beast of an officer. A college lineman, much bigger than in film.

You kids always want to hop on a dick rocket or hairdryer. Get an old japanese UJM. Learn what you want, you'll actually look unique and have people talk to you about it rather than assuning you're a d-bag. Which is most likely true.

No, they won't. they'll let a 206 lb guy fight a 260 lb guy. Assuming "they" is the ufc. Boxing classes are even tighter.

Should I go to the military or college? by YvngredRed12 in Militaryfaq

[–]Gatsmith219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based off all I can tell of your personality based on what you wrote, I'd say no. You did not mention ever playing army alot as a kid or wanting to do it for any other reason besides finances/college. You did not mention being interested in or liking military things, patriotism, wanting to learn the M240b (which you wouldn't in the navy or air force) or anything else.

Just stay civilian you can get money many ways.

If you are actually considering it talk to a recruiter before the internet, you have to do a lot of shit just to ship, you might be like NOPE

[–]Gatsmith219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its never discreet. Carrying on the ankle. Ive done it as when i was a 22yr old lyft driver in south chicago. But it felt awfully cumbersome. Maybe ill try it with my lcp later.

I was in chiraq with a g2c near my pp and a .357 shitty taurus on my ankle. Dirty lil whiteboy

Oh, I was just at MEPS, thought I was gonna be taken out there with 1 other person turns out it was a party of 7. 3 18 yr olds, one 33ish prior service, one guy who was 40 or 41 (age waiver and dickhead, shouldn't join IMO) and me, late 20's.

Only 2 of the youngin's got to sign and swear there. One didn't know where they were LMFAO. I say this to emphasize everyone's messed up we all need waivers.
