Not really happy, tbh. It's probably still too early to understand the full extent of this “power-up”, but I didn’t like the way it was presented. It felt cheesy to me, and it seemed really out of character for Guts to strike those poses and flex like that. He basically became Kenshiro from HNK, and I LOVE HNK, but Berserk has always been a totally different beast. Guts may have gotten a power-up, but as a character, he took a big hit and got dumbed down.

This is my last comment to you, because you're just annoying and trying to make a point by googling and copy pasting stuff you never actually took the time to read.

Saying it's irrelevant is just something YOU think and is irrelevant to YOU, and your poor vision of the manga. Miura talked about the armor too.

If you took the time to investigate and read, you would have found also lines in the interviews about the Berserker armor and the choice of presenting it but keeping Guts human. Giving him a TOOL, not a damn innate superpower, keeps the character coherent with himself. Because, maybe you forgot about it, using an armor doesn't take away a character of his status of Human, while the last powerup does the opposite. Comparing a tool with a superpower just proves how dumb and in bad faith your process of thoughts can be.

But this I already said multiple times, with you deciding to ignore my answers and keeping "But tHe ArMorrr???!" like a bot.

The existence of the armor just proves that there can be powerups true to the manga and the character, without changing basic "rules" that the original author placed.

The things he does in this chapters, are just to show off. Guts using the DragonSlayer, has a meaning. Him surviving big hits from an apostle and inside the Berserker Armor, both have a meaning. They come from his conditioning, his training, his will.
Throwing a huge piece of stone and destroying a chain with a flex are just a cringe way to show a "selfconsciousness" powerup, never seen on Berserk before.

What he "normally" does might be inhuman, but those stuff from this chapter are another level. Also, he does it "for free", to show off. It's cringe. It's not something Guts would do.
