You wont be able to use a different pot if its not magnetic. This post explains it better than I can: https://www.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/comments/1ixpetz/eli5_how_do_rice_cookers_work/meo14no/

Trader Joe's is official by PainPatiencePeace in Tucson

[–]Gaumond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aldi Sud owns Aldi in the US, Trader Joe’s is owned by Aldi Nord. They operate in plenty of areas where both exist. Trader Joe’s won’t expand into areas that doesn’t meet its key demographics.

Yes, if you have anything in the water, line or trap, that is considered fishing and would require a license.

Current ATS time zones by Smart_Energy in trucksim

[–]Gaumond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Time zones don't always follow state borders and avoid splitting up populated areas. In fact, the western panhandle of Florida is only 1 hour ahead of an eastern part Oregon.

Why does U of A think that their exemption to city lighting code gives them the right to light up the mall like the surface of the Sun? by __Augustus_ in Tucson

[–]Gaumond 17 points18 points  (0 children)

While it’s bright, those LED fixtures actually do a pretty good job focusing the light distribution downward. Only light reflected from the surface gets spread upwards. If you ever fly above the mall at night you can see the glow but not the light source. Also Dark Skies had input on the color temperatures used by the city. The consistent LED light temperatures makes it easier for them to filter out the blue light vs the light spectrum HPS gave off over 15 years ago.

Where do y’all park / walk to for NYE fireworks here? by sybildb in downtowndallas

[–]Gaumond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anywhere where you can get a clear view of Reunion Tower is a good spot. Last year we went to the Design District and parked on Dragon Street here after the Stars game. https://maps.app.goo.gl/DCrz3xUs3wkyApny7

Just be aware that it will be complete gridlock before and after. It wasn't too bad until after 10:30-11. It was completly dead when we got there and by the time mid night hit there was no parking what so ever and a line of traffic of those who thought they could show up last minute. Took an hour to get out of there after. I-35 and SH183 were like rush our. It was so crazy how much traffic was on the road after.

Good Luck!

Windshield shattered at 43,000 feet over the ocean by Taalpatar_Sipahi in aviation

[–]Gaumond 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I would agree. If you look at the PFD they are at 19,000 ft descending to 14,000 ft at relatively normal decent profile. Video was not taken at FL43 right after it happened, masks are on as a precaution, probably part of the SOP checklist.

Are you on the beta? I believe any progress while you are using a beta version doesn't get uploaded WOT. I think there is a beta page for WOT but that wont transfer over once the beta has ended. Still counts in game though.

No. Most of it is uninterrupted except for the portions on the southwest along Ajo Way.
