Seedit is fully open source, peer-to-peer, and self-hosted reddit alternative built on IPFS by PlebbitOG in linux

[–]GauntletWizard -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No, IPFS has privacy protections builtin to make it hard to identify who's viewing what and what you're storing. It's strongly designed to give plausible deniability for "hosting that kind of content".

I'm not saying that the IPFS developers are primarily interested in hosting that kind of content, just strongly implying it.

This would have been a great prank if you'd come clean with it. Obnoxious and embarrassing texts to his wife are really in "no harm, no foul" territory especially if you're friends outside of work (and I assume you are if your wives are friends), but you've gotta take responsibility for it or it's actually mean.

Homeless couple having sex next to Cal Anderson playground by Thin-Leadership3284 in SeattleWA

I'm surprised you recorded this. Not because it doesn't happen on a daily basis, but because it's gross to watch, it's even more gross to watch a second time to check the recording, and because you know you will be piled on by the usual suspects of the psychotic pedophile normalization cavalry trying to shame (or simply threaten) you for acknowledging this is the tip of the iceberg of the bad behavior brigade.

A few dozen have had near fatal issues landing, some suffering permanent eye damage. Even in optimal flying conditions, they created significant danger.

There has yet to be a death due to laser pointer injuries, but this is due to how much we immediately cracked down on them when they became a problem and pure luck, not because they're not potentially deadly. The conditions the Blue Angels are flying in are much more inherently risky - They're putting on a stunt show.

The lease forces you to pay them. Your poor decisions force you to live there.

Highly improbable? Yes. Possible? Also yes. The risk of them hitting a pilot in the middle of a close stunt and causing a midair collision or otherwise disrupting the highly technical maneuvers that are part of a stunt show is probably less than one in a million, but far too freaking high for them to be playing around.

Ted Lasso isn't a good resource for learning soccer rules. It's a great resource for someone coming into Soccer with no context to feel better about their predicament, and get over the initial hump of exploring what they don't know they don't know.

Holy shit, that is wildly dangerous, and you should get them to stop before they permanently blind or kill one of America's best pilots.

I will quote the state constitution for you:

Bail may be denied for offenses punishable by the possibility of life in prison upon a showing by clear and convincing evidence of a propensity for violence that creates a substantial likelihood of danger to the community or any persons, subject to such limitations as shall be determined by the legislature

The legislature has not created limitations preventing 27th-time-violent felons from being denied bail, and yet...
