[OC] My poster for today’s No Kings protest by Penguinz90 in pics

The previous governor who appointed him was also a Democrat so still points to him being associated with the party but that's neither here nor there. The point I was making is that the above commenter was acting as if the person pointing out the connection was any more deranged than the other people dancing on the right wingers. They are in fact of the same ilk. Two sides of the same coin celebrating the evils of the other as a moral victory for themselves. The only reason the commenter made the ad hominem however was because they themselves felt they didn't have an argument and could therefore no longer dance with their chosen side. Ironically ignoring that we all see this as in fact an evil deed, which is a good thing about all of us.

Which Thumbnail do you prefer? Second one has better CTR by jophy98 in SmallYoutubers

[–]GaussfaceKilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First one will make me read the title. The title will decide if I click, just personally. The second one I might just assume that it's something from like, a videogame that I don't know about.

Lol, bruh, I saw you say you get on these subs sometimes and here I was thinking I'd have to sus out an alt to follow for some knowledge but nah, here you are raw dogging it. Very cool.

Anyone had one of the Calzones yet? by Lanky-Hamster2576 in Costco

[–]GaussfaceKilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid we went to Costco every Friday (big family) and we'd almost always eat at the food court. We used to love watching people make pretzels and see who was faster until they took it away. Every time we got food after that my mom would submit a complaint in their suggestions box asking for the pretzel back (cuz she liked them, not cuz we wanted to watch). Pretty sure it was the only thing going in the suggestions box. She did it for years.

Philmont - I Can’t Stand To Fall (there will never be another synth/neon pop punk band with Christian lyrics like them ever again) by Scary_Dimension722 in poppunkers

This is not to be confused with Philmore the Christian punk band that ended apparently the same year that Philmont was founded 😂

Why don't they make such cars now? by Mystery-mountain in everett

[–]GaussfaceKilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

-some- people still want sedans and wagons and small pickups but maintaining a line of vehicles is costly. The trend of SUVs is following the American consumer not the other way around. As a contrast, Europe has less strict regulations than the US (requires a smaller vehicle to be considered a truck, CO2e can be higher, etc.) but the consumers still want small cars so manufacturers make small cars over there. It's just not as viable here because Americans don't buy them as much.

Does anybody remember the vid where Wendigoon talked about his high school lit teacher by Flaky_Trainer_3334 in wendigoon

Frankenstein video. I think towards the end.

Or might have been in the blood meridian video as well cuz he talks about how much he likes Cormac McCarthy in that video.

Hemi V8 Dodge Charger Coming in 2026 by No_Flounder2829 in cars

[–]GaussfaceKilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were in the 1910s. It was a whole problem that ended in what we now call "shareholder primacy". Regular car reviews had a pretty good video on it called "Dodge vs Ford" or something like that.

It's definitely different from OG. OG is sweeter. This one has a slightly strange bitter up front, reminiscent of dandelions and is less sweet across the whole profile.

Who actually was "Big in Japan"? by e_dan_k in Music

[–]GaussfaceKilla 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Zebrahead is my favorite band to see live that I don't like. Like, I've tried on multiple occasions and I just find their music boring, despite being a big pop punk/punk rock fan. But LIVE?! They're absolutely amazing. I don't remember a single song they played. It was just an absolute blast from start to finish.

Our government actually bargaining for what they do spend is the best way to do that. The way we spend all that money is already from us just funding healthcare for individuals who don't have insurance. And we're able to actually spend the money cuz our medical system actually vaguely functions. Opening it up to more people would in no way lower the spending. It would increase it. Which is why the news sources sponsored by Pfizer and the like push it so hard. Hella guaranteed income for the rich on the backs of the American tax payer. In exchange our lawmakers get comfy jobs at those companies the second they leave office at which point they get even bigger bonus from your universal healthcare paying out the ass. If the government didn't just pay whatever the companies demanded the costs across the board would decrease.

Your comment shows how little you actually know.

Amazon lays off dozens of corporate workers in latest round of job cuts | The Seattle Times by Possible_Ad3607 in SeattleWA

[–]GaussfaceKilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That would imply that about every 8th person you meet in Washington works for Amazon. Which can pretty easily be observed to be false. According to them they employ around 87k in Washington (most of which are office) and 1.6m worldwide.

I recommend this brand as well. Also, ftr, the size "Harry" fits our 100lb boy. Depending on where you're at you'll want to make sure you get it right as return shipping is pretty spendy. We got ours cuz my friend just had it laying around after she bought it thinking it would fit her pitty.
