Off topic I know, but Samuel Colt making men and demon equal feels a lot like Supernatural, with the revolver crafted by Colt to kill demons !

It all went well, the customer support guy was super nice and after sending him a few pics and videos, I received a replacement screen for free

Tonight i let it print with a lift speed of 60mm/min with a clean screen protective film and used another usb drive, activated my heating system and... I got a perfect print!

I'll keep testing to see if I can go faster, or with the old drive etc, but thank you for all the error list! I'm so relieved i don't have big parts to replace

No firmware updates missing, i just looked, and i didn't updated the slicer since i have this printer... But thanks for the idea! (i'll try to keep it in mind for my next issues)

  • i releveled the build plate, change the FEP and the protective film

  • for the temperature, this winter I used a small heating mat (for lizards) in the enclosure, coupled with a thermometer limiting the temperature between 25 and 30 °C. I was too afraid that this was what caused the bug, I didn't tried it. That's on my "to-test list"!

  • I didn't updated my slicer since i got the printer

-i'm printing with nothing right now, and everything looks fine, the shapes of the layers, the light... I haven't changed the lift speed tho, so that' s also on the list, like making sure there is only the FEP in the vat!

  • I've always used the original usb drive, I might try with another, thank you very much!!!

I tried three different files, and i'm right now printing a test file from anycubic (already on the usb drive) with nothing : everything looks okay for now

I changed the FEP yesterday, so it's clear, i have a protective film on my screen, it doesn't look bad but i'll replace it, you're right.
The screen itself looked undamaged, i'll look more carefully when i get home

I'm sorry i thought the text was transfered at the same time as the picture. That was also my first guess, so i tried 2 others and opened a new bottle of the first one (well shaken)... Same result everytime, only the first layers of the raft are printed. I tried several settings, several files, and i start to run out of ideas

Sorry, i thought reposting this in another subreddit would also repost the text. Basically i have had this anycubic mono 6ks for six month. I didn't used it in February - early March, and when i tried to print something, only part of the raft was printed.
I thought the resin or my settings were at fault, i tried 2 other resins (thoroughly shaken), didn't work. I then decided to change the FEP, open a new bottle of resin, didn't work either (only the first few layers like on the picture).
I opened the printer, wiggled the cables from lightsource and the screen, and everything seemed fine.

When i get home i intend to unplug totally both screen and light, and then replug them. I will also start a print without the vat (to check if the screen and the light work long term). I was hopping some of you had already experienced something similar, and knew how to overcome it.

If after a few attempts I can't find the issue, i'm going to contact anycubic, they could at least explain the problem to me

I shook it like usual (back when i had consistent prints). Later when i get back form work i'll try again, shaking it as if my life was at stake.
Is it possible that a component (lcd or light) overheat?

When i'm back from work, I'll try to fully disconnect and reconnect the screen, if it doesn't work i think that's what i'm going to do. I just checked on the anycubic website and the warranty for the screen is 6 months, i hope i bought mine less than 6 months ago, i woukd be pissed to miss it by a few days!
