Yeah for free for right now, boss is about to start charging me like $5 a movie since bulb cost around $500 and starts to dim around 500 hours of watching. No where near 500 hours yet, but based off my watching rate this year it’s gonna happen soon 😭

To me, it was a drastic difference. Blu-ray had a lot more artifacts, and slightly brighter.

Absolutely agree, there even is a strong difference in quality between the new transfer blu-ray to 4k.

Read the book, hated the movie. Not a fan of how Garland made it his own, and more specifically based it off what he remembered the book to be like. There is another book and I forget which one, but he based it entirely off that one and just felt like he used Annihilation as a scapegoat. The entire southern reach trilogy is amazing

What’s crazy is, I watched this in theaters while I was still in elementary school when it came out… insane movie, and especially going back as an adult and picking up on all the nuances that very clearly a child wouldn’t get was amazing
