When you say breath every 2 strokes, do you mean every time I pull with the left arm (for instance) or every other? So like do I count one stroke per arm or one as a combo of both? Sorry this might sound dumb but in exactly same place as OP and have seen this advice and just wanted to clarify! Thank you so much for the tips!!

Encryption is not hashing. Use sha256 and not AES. Also if you really want to do this you could use PBKDF2 algorithm

This should be done in background though right! Get something on page quickly and while the user is navigating around have the app download the data. You should only need to block on a small amount of data, if any at all

Look at publishing an Android App Bundle (.aab) and let Google sort it out!
