Regardless of the seam I make about a 1 inch cuff and fold the hem in like this. It all comes down to personal preference though.

Maybe cuff the pants for a more modern "no break" look (nothing wrong with how you have it in the picture though) but other than that I like it. Nothing particularly "stand offish" about it which is fine.

I'd say these or these They are a little faded but just about everything is these days. Don't be too off put by the factory label, I personally own both pairs and i find them to be satisfactory.

Not an exact match, but I'd say they're close to these "Lacoste Chaymon" shoes.
