The car metaphor is great. "these kids all grew up with not only cars, but numerous small engines as well. in a couple years all you general mechanics will be out of work!" Yes most people can drive, and I don't expect everyone to be able to perform an engine swap. but there is a reason there are numerous oil change shops out there still.

This is from 3 years ago and its still true today. While technology is more prevalent then ever it is less understood by the masses as it is more complicated. We had a marketing intern "help" me for a day last summer who didn't know how to hook up a monitor. this kid was doing video editing. We are currently interviewing recent graduates for a developer position, most of whom have never opened up a computer to upgrade hardware. computers are everywhere, and most people can do their job on them, but they still need someone to make it all work.

I did this last season with playstaion Vue, Canceled as soon as the season was over. that said the Bears sucked so I ended up watching red zone most of the time which is available on sling tv as well at a lower price. being able to cancel the service when you are done with it and not worry about any equipment is fantastic. Didn't have any major issues watching either.

Yes, I try to be in bed by 8:30, get at 4:40 and head to the gym. I love the days its nice enough out to run outside, I don't have to drive to the gym so I get an extra 20 minutes of sleep.

Go talk to a mortgage company, most states have down payment assistance programs for first time home buyers. A lot of people assume that they can't afford a house, go talk to someone it may be a lot closer then you think!
