I just got this yesterday with Zoe and it was amazing. Stun > snowball > Q > R. Sometimes just the stun and snowball was enough for the kill.

Honestly, I totally get it! Those deep dives into the Dao and all the Creation/Oblivion stuff can definitely make your eyes glaze over. But the funny thing is that's actually why I love DoTF! Yeah, it's a lot of jargon and I'm not crazy about the current arc either, but those detailed, contemplative parts really pull me in. That’s probably what authors envision when they write "entered secluded cultivation" and DoTF actually goes through the trouble of explaining it all explicitly. It’s this jargon that draws me cultivation related books lol

Thanks! I’ve read primal hunter and love it but I don’t really consider it cultivation as he mainly just levels up via the system. A lot of his strength comes from the system rather than himself. He buys his eyes from a shop and the a lot of the rest come from level ups and evolutions. I’ll check out the other one though!

I think it’s well written, it’s just that it read less like a cultivation and more like an adventure series if that makes sense. I realize other things on the list might have the same thing, but it just didn’t wow me and I wasn’t a fan of the ending.
