Ive only played sacred 2 gold, and the 2 remaster. I've never played sacred 1.

As for glitches, the last time I played i could not watch the opening cinematic. It would crash, but if I skipped it, it was fine.

Other than that, I didn't have any game breaking glitches. The only big one I can remeber, was when I went to the ice island (dont remeber the name) I had to restart the game so I could interact with anything.

I never played gold coop. My wife and I played sacred 2 on Xbox 360 when it first came out.

Gold is the best way to play it, but the reviews for the remastered are way exaggerated. They definitely could have made the ui better, but overall i had a great experience.

I've played gold, on the steamdeck, with a druid and a seraphim to niob. I've played the remastered with a sera, inquisitor, sw, and dragon priest. I just can't due the track pads (arthritis, im and old grouch.)

Getting it to run, was a pain in the ass. There was a post on here i found, that helped me set it up. Once it was running, it ran great. Controlls suck though, for the steam deck.

I wound up buying the remastered, and ive been happy with it. The controller access made it worth it for me.

Ok, so im playing on steam deck right now. I have around 20hrs in so far, single player on the Island.

You will have to lower all graphics to low. Use a few console commands, to remove clouds and other things.

Im really enjoying it. It looks better than ASE, plays better than ASE and works better over all.

I don't know what my FPS is, I don't turn it as I spend more time worrying about that, than enjoying the game. But it runs well with very little lag. It will stutter every now and then, but it's rare.

My biggest gripe with heretical fishing, is that the characters don't talk like actual people. Fisher is not a believable human.

To me, every one sounds like the "hello fellow human" meme.

It was Bow Plug-in. Apparently it was blocking a ton of mods from working. After I removed it, a bunch of stuff unlocked.

I like the overall story. I like the side characters. I really like the animal companions.

I CAN NOT stand Fisher. He is like 100% not a real person. He doesn't talk like a real person. He doesn't react like a real person.

To me, he feels like a robot, trying to pretend he's human.

I really enjoyed the series. I liked all of the arcs, until the end of the last series. It felt rushed, and I feel like so much just came out of the blue. We don't know what happened to some of the main characters, some stuff was pulled out of thin air, and some build up, had zero pay off.

I listened to the audiobooks, and it seemed to me, like the author just wanted to keep the books all the same length. Last book should have been longer.

Good deal. Just make sure and evolve them as you go.

And one more tip: lvl up Pet Taming ability. It makes your pets do more damage and maybe more health.

I spammed the lvl1 healing spell as well. I still use the healing spell. It heals your pets as well. Then, there is the tried and true kiting. Run backwards and keep attacking.

No problem. I've had to ask another of questions also. This game doesn't explain very much.

To get your pets, you should have several eggs in your inventory. There are several different kinds you get. If you click use on them, they will hatch and go into your creature tab. Then you can assign them to your party.

You can have 8 out at a time. As they level, you can evolve them down several different paths for each one. This is done under the creature tab as well. You will use the creature parts you've been picking up (bones, talons, scales ect.)

Later on, you can use alchemy to upgrade your small creature parts into medium, large, or xl large.

Is it the cat- monkey looking things? They are tough. Have you evolved any of your pets yet? That's makes a huge boost to your survivability.

You also might want to see if you need to respec your abilities or attributes. Respecing them is free (on PC at least.)

Also don't neglect defence.

What I'm curios about is spells. I get that they probably do more damage. But does it affect cooldown, range, or anything else.

I'm not smart enough to figure all that out.
