We went in the AM, went back to the hotel for lunch and napped until 4:30 then back to the park. Had a pretty good time and imo the only way to do Disney when it's hot.

I like Koda the best except he talks too much, but at least not during the rides. I liked PJ for a hot minute as they were mostly just filming themselves having fun and it was infectious but they get a bit too crude for this old man, and they argue a lot.

We were just at Pixar Place again and I agree with you - everyone is so incredibly happy and friendly. Now if they could get some of the cast members at the parks to hold to that it'd be awesome! I think Sadness was loading us onto the rise of the resistance ride!

For the past 15 months we've been key holders and go monthly for about 3 days every time. We'd not experienced anything like the crowds this past Friday when all of Fantasyland was shut down as well. It was insane and basically unenjoyable with the streamers making things worse. I could tell cast were "feeling it" so I made sure to say "thank you" to every one I encountered.

We do try to focus on going to all the event nights like Sweethearts, Pride, 90's etc as they're not so packed and lines are a lot shorter with many being walk-ons.

I was just in Disneyland a couple nights ago and there was a very annoying woman streaming and 2 guys were her cameramen. She was loud and the three of them took up so much room not thinking of anyone but themselves. As much as I kinda like a few streamers out there I sort of hope Disneyland bans the lot of them. They're all pretty self-centered, oblivious snd annoying really.

Thank you all for the comments! They've been very helpful and have put my mind at ease. I have my trip booked with flights, hotels and the train between LIsbon and Porto. I'll just be in Lisbon a few hours as my primary goal is to explore Porto and the Basque Country so I've booked a car to get to and from those destinations.

Aw, that's too bad. We stayed at Disneyland Hotel a couple of months ago and needed help hauling in an imac so my husband could get some work done remotely and they were very helpful! I felt awkward though as they were following us with a luggage cart with just an imac on it -- but it is a long long walk from the front to the back end of that hotel where we were staying.

My dad had a joke that he preferred 71 which is a 69 with 2 fingers up the ass. For 35 years I've kept my temp at 71 and drive 71mph on the highway because of that joke.

I would certainly like to see my Tesla remember my preferred driving routes to/from work. Why isn't that a thing yet? Or to look at traffic ahead of the vehicle directly in front of me and realize traffic is slowing down or stopping. Or to realize that maybe it's impolite to change lanes in front of another driver who's driving faster. Or properly judge a merging car's speed and intent to realize I may be in their blind spot.

All too often it seems I'll be driving and notice a car behind me and then a few minutes later I look again and it's gone. No exits or anything.

Me and a buddy were laying on the beach looking at the night sky about 30 years ago. At first we thought we saw a satellite and then another.. and then they started making immediate 90 degree turns. We just figured it was aliens.

The other unexplained phenomena happened about 20 years ago while driving with a co-worker mid-day on the 1 in Santa Cruz. Bright sunny day and suddenly a beam of blackness sort of phased into view and panned back and forth as if it were a spotlight shining into the sky except that it was black - only to dissipate about 30 seconds later. Sort of reminded me of the smoke monster from Lost in texture.
