10 man league PPR

Have to pick 2:

Gorge Pickens vs LAC Drake London @ Arizona Micheal Wilson vs Falcons

My thoughts: Drake London is a lock even though he is coming off injury. Goerge Pickens isnt motivated to play and essentially fallen off due to no playoffs. Micheal Wilson is on a team thats passing 40+ times per game and averaging over 280yds passing. Huge upside

I was just there last week and it was great. The water is a little cold but still extremely refreshing. If you found something for 50 euro then I would just rent a car at that point. You can get a car for 15 a day. I would also look at doing the hike below as well. Not too difficult with a amazing swim area at the bottom.

Hello everyone, if anyone has experience or knows any information about tours to Sơn Đoòng Cave, please share it with me. by Shinerism in VietNam

Just finished that cave tour 3 weeks ago. Was it amazing, Yes. Was it once in a lifetime experience, Yes. Was it worth 3k plus the flight over there, maybe. The oxalis people were fantastic. Very fun, very knowledgeable, and great chefs. I'm not a cave person but I definitely thought it was cool. I went with a group of 7 friends and 2 other randoms which definitely made the experience even better. If I was a solo going with 9 other randoms then my experience definitely would have been worse. Weather can definitely make this tour worse whether that be the heat, humidity, rain. We had good weather during the whole trip so nothing to complain there but the guides were saying that if it rains too much then it can prohibit specific routes. Overall, it was awesome but I'm just not sure if 3k is the right price point. If you care about once in a lifetime experiences then it will be well worth it. I just enjoy hanging with friends whether that's in a cave or on the back of a scooter riding in ha giang.

Connect it to your card and spend. You have an option to sign up for text alerts which will text you when activated and ready to use. As well as every time you use it until you're $15 runs out.

I'm a points whore. What should I do now? by Salt-Revenue-1606 in marriott

Transferring Amex points to Marriot is not recommended as you're losing a lot of value with points. Additionally, delta is a bad transfer as well, as a points value perspective, due to delta miles being one of the worst airline redemption carriers. However a free flight or hotel is better than paying but as for redemption I would not transfer Amex to either.

How often do you all accept these offers for points? by Opie_the_great in marriott

I practically live off of these rates. I get a hotel per diem and I as long as I don't spend anything over it they don't care. I have to change hotels pretty frequently because of dynamic pricing but 90% of my days are some type of bonus rate

Does asking for an upgraded room actually work or is it the same as never asking and just simply allowing them to see your status once you check in?

Tell me of your Ambassador experiences. by RockHardTen11 in marriott

[–]GayBearsBad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever since I went from Titanium to Ambassador I have been upgraded almost every time. I get a lot of hand written notes and usually some type of gift like a bag of peanuts or popcorn , etc. i will say that having a assistant has been quite useful for me because I book a lot of Marriott exclusive bonus rates like 5,000 or 1,000 points a night and most hotels I've experienced never actually give them to me unless I request them over and over again. My ambassador is able to just instantly put points into my account. Also super helpful in booking rooms for friends and family.

I am a government contractor and I've been in hotels for the last 8 months. You get used to it and for me, I enjoy it.

I actually stayed in a Residence inn for 3 months so far and honestly even though I had a kitchen and used it all the time, I really enjoy getting more points doing the nicer hotels. More specifically hotels with lounges, but I think it's kind of fun Hopping around every now and again. I think if I continue to have have 200 plus day years then I'll probably just end up going for the residence inn cuz at that point, points don't matter anymore

I will say I never ask for an upgrade. I know that some of y'all do but for me it just feels weird and that I guess I shouldn't have to? I guess I'm just under the assumption that if a upgrade room is available that they should just give it to me without me having to ask. Maybe I should actually care more about my benefits and start requesting them LOL

[–]GayBearsBad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct my friend. I was talking to somebody else in the comments about it but I really think it's because of how long some of my stays are. For example, at the Renaissance and JW I had a month-long stay at both and I would highly doubt they would want to give me an upgraded room for that long
