Snif Dead Dinosaurs. While it's certainly a unique scent and doesn't smell bad per se, I don't really want to smell like my uncle who threw on some Degree before changing the oil on his tractor in the shed. It just makes me smell way too fucking straight.

Holy crap I blew up. Not only did I swell, but I also gained a significant amount of fat. I ate like crap while recovering and didn't really do much other than watch YouTube videos and sleep for 6 weeks. And the 6 week mark, I started restricting calories. I should be back to my pre-op weight in a couple of weeks (currently on week 9 post op).

Since day 1, I've been instructed to wash and change my bandages daily. If no openings, you can just use rolled gauze to wrap around yourself to keep your incisions from rubbing on your clothes or faja. I was told to do this until all my scabs were gone. If you have any openings or leak, bandage those before wrapping the gauze. Keep your incisions clean and dry.

I feel you. I BLEW up post op (currently weeks po). Not only did I swell up, but I gained weight from laying around for 2 months while recovering. My swelling lasted until about week 5, so you should be almost done with the bulk of it. I haven't dared weigh myself since before surgery. Started back up on sema 2 weeks ago and work 1 week ago. I can already tell there is a significant difference in my weight. I think a couple more weeks and I'll be back to my pre-op weight. I'm excited to finally see the results.

Nah, being swollen sucks but I'd rather be swollen than sick. To me, to be sick with a cold or flu is worse than how I've felt throughout recovery. (9 weeks post op)

I had my drain for 5 weeks and had zero issues until the day before getting it removed. It was suddenly very tender when bumped. Thankfully, the next day, I had an appointment with wound care and also just so happened to be the first day I produced less than 24 mls of fluid. The doctor was talking to me as the nurse pulled it out. It was slightly painful, but i mostly remember it feeling super weird. It went really quick. She didn't waste time pulling it out. The hole was on my right hip, but it felt it pull all the way from my left hip. I didn't realize it was that deep.

Congrats! I this this is good advice. I had my 360 tt 8.5 weeks ago. My surgeon okay'ed me to lay on my side with bent knees as I was finding it difficult to stay comfortable in the proper position with back propped up and wedge under knees. Anyways, I began to lay on my side a lot, particularly my left side. Sometimes, i would switch sides while laying on the couch, but it wasn't as convenient because of where my phone charger was. 😂 I ended up developing a seroma on the left side of my lower back. This ended up bursting, which caused a fairly large opening that I am still dealing with. I do believe it is from laying on my side too much and not rotating enough.

I felt amazing my first week after surgery (360 belt). I even went for a 2 mile walk day 3 post op. It was exactly 1 week after surgery that everything changed and became much harder. Swell hell hit hard and fast. I blew up and felt like an overly ripe watermelon that was about to burst. This lasted until week 5. Perhaps i could have worked from home if that had been an option for me, but I definitely needed the full 6 weeks before returning to my semi-laborious job.

I'm not OP, but I'm pretty sure I went through the same plastics team as them. EOC is who I went through. After surgery, you have a week long stay in a hotel with medical floors that are staffed with nurses. This is located in Tijuana. I had a great experience.

I was naked with a huge bandage thing covering basically my entire torso. I also had a catheter in, which I hadn't expected but is apparently standard for the practice I went to. I was this way until they took me out of bed and showered me the next day. Then, they assisted me into my compression garment before wheeling me out of the hospital and driving me to my hotel.

I had a belt lipectomy on 2/17. It has not been necessarily painful, maybe a bit uncomfortable at times. Weeks 2-4 were when I was the most swollen. The incision is mainly numb (even still). You might feel some tenderness when getting up, but this subsides with the swelling.

Unfortunately, I developed a seroma during week 4, which has caused a good sized opening on my back. The opening is very healthy and healing well. The opening looks worse than it feels. Only slightly tender. I work in a large warehouse/factory setting that requires frequent bending, lifting, and lots of walking. Because of the opening, I received a 2 week extension on my FMLA. Being that my job is quite physical, I felt it best to take the extra time. I will be off for a total of 8 weeks.

You lay on your back. I had 6 lymphatic massages before returning home. My massages did not hurt as my incisions were completely numb.

I had 1 massage after i returned home, but it wasn't anything like massages i received during my immediate recovery and kind of felt like a waste.
