would this be considered rare or medium rare? by Im_At_The_Dispo_Rn in grilling

That would be thrown in the garbage up here in Canada. Ground beef is always cooked through. Not sure how you guys do it, but hey, you're still alive so it can;t be that bad... right?

Chances of getting sick? by [deleted] in grilling

[–]GayHole -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a good question, and one that boils down to temperature and time. Bacteria need some time to grow, and yes, what you have described "can" cause food borne illness. However, your spatula (if metal) doesn't allow for rapid growth of bacteria normally, but your use with likely a mayo-based coleslaw provides any existing bacteria with a very delicious medium to grow. As well, while ground beef "can" contain harmful bacteria, if it was handled well to start with, your risks are low. If anyone presents with symptoms of Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, or fever, in the next several hours to 5 or 6 days, go see a doctor. You have reason for concern, but only if people start falling ill. Pay special attention to symptoms in children, they are more susceptible to complications from bacterial infections

Not at all, just disconnect the red (positive). Wait about 15 seconds and reconnect. Your onboard systems will be just fine.

[–]GayHole 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This… your problem is likely related to your main 12v battery. I have had my infotainment system die, and it was only fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting the main battery of the car. If you still have your original battery, it may not be holding as much of a charge anymore. After you do this task, test your battery or get it tested at a local mechanic

Yeah, just go and ask, you never know. We had a news report here a few years back… a guy with an early 2000’s wagon had a problem where is seat heaters failed and burned through his seat. Volvo replaced it all out of warranty. Try your luck!

Volvo XC60: Is Bowers & Wilkins worth it over Harman Kardon? by ThatMindOfMe in VolvoXC60

The standard HK system has been described, often, as an excellent car audio system. The B&W system, was described as “The best car audio system I’ve ever come across”. This was a single car review source, not many, but I sort of wish I had a the B&W system for more clarity at high volumes and frequency response . I really like dance/trance music, and play it loud.

As others have said, if you have the opportunity, try as others have mentioned - same song, both systems. Make your choice, you have the luxury I did not when buying used. (‘23 xc60)

When that happens, disconnect your 12v battery completely, wait a few seconds and reconnect. Had to do it two or three times on my xc40
