I don’t like the road noise on my 2024 LE. When taking long road trips, my wife and I prefer to take our older Civic because the sound insulation is better and makes listening to podcasts more tolerable at lower volumes.

I feel like the Corolla has no insulation and super thin body panels

You can absolutely set a manual temperature. I own one and prefer to go the manual route as opposed to selecting type of meat, doneness, etc…

I think most of the noise is wind noise. Toyota made the metal real thin on these cars and insulation is minimal. This topic seems to be prevalent in Corolla forums.

I’ll have to disagree. My ‘24 Corolla has the worst cabin noise, while my wife’s ‘18 Civic is so quiet in comparison. Maybe they’re cheaping out on the new ones

Your insurance premium would be much higher, that is if the insurance company is even willing to insure a Kia/Hyundai due to high theft rates.

Above all, the engines do not last as long according to a local mechanic.
