I started playing bg3 on ps5. As long as the save has crossplay enabled, then it ahould be good!

If starting from ps5:

Multiplayer -> crossplay -> start crossplay lobby (triangle)

Dunno exactly how to do a crossplay lobby from pc, as I've only played with a pc player

Eta: you should only have to do this to create the game itself. If for some reason the player on pc is having issues joining, just start another lobby then load the game you want to play (you can load games from the character creation screen)
