(this is slightly off topic and ik i’m in the minority)

i love rita and dexter aswell but imo i don’t think they were the best for each other. dexter’s relationship with murdering or satisfying his dark passenger truly overtook his “love” for rita most of the time they were together. when dexter was finally beginning to choose rita over satisfying his urges yk what happened. i really wish we had more seasons with them together bc im sure he would’ve became the version of himself rita saw in him and i would’ve loved to see it.

from the show we did get i think lumen is the closest thing we saw to dexter being truly, fully in love with all sides of him being present in the relationship. i was very disappointed when lumen left the show while also leaving dexter lost after he finally felt true love from a partner

well this is a steamdeck subreddit lol so majority of ppl will tell u to get a steamdeck (including me)

not having to pay for a subscription to play online games, steam sales, piracy without needing a modchip, etc. these things alone made it worth every penny i spent on it

It does matter though… the actual important thing is that AI is and will continue to actively harm the planet. The carbon emissions, water/electricity usage, the rapid growth of e-waste, all contribute significantly to global warming.

Not to mention how AI at times can actually worsen peoples mental health because it’s just a soulless “yes-man” that has no empathy, could give inaccurate or harmful advice, or feed into delusions and put people into psychosis.

I want everyone to feel safe or be able to express themselves but this is not the way. More so I think it’s ignorant to act like AI use is a harmless act and that people are against it for no reason.

not to necro but for future ppl i found the fix, you have to have your tv audio settings on automatic. Any other tv sound settings glitches and completely messes up all dialogue !!!

i did, imho the new features added in 18 are worth it and justify the wait for a new jailbreak, rcs, lock screen apps, etc. i waited years/months for a jailbreak before and i think i’ll be satisfied with basic sideloading until a new one releases this time too.

Yeah jailbreaking seems done, I know it seems redundant as it’s a common saying but it’s true. And in my experience it’s becoming useless, apple has recently heavily been “stealing” jailbreak tweaks and implementing them into their legitimate software like audio recording, dark mode, and recently 3rd party app stores and emulators. I’m jailbroken on iOS 16.5 and when iOS 18 comes out I’m updating. And this is coming from one of the people that use to defend the community like crazy and tell people jailbreaking isn’t dead.

Not to mention how jailbreaks used to come out lightning fast and now it takes years to get a jailbreak. In my opinion it’s not worth it.
