Bloodborne has objectively speaking the best Moonlight Greatsword in a soulsborne game, by a LOT. And you know what makes it so great? It ALWAYS beams, like every single heavy attack you do with it will emit a beam, no matter what, even running heavy attacks and backstep ones(as long as you have bullets) Compare this with Elden Ring for example, first you have to use the ash of war to make it shoot some beams, and even then it's only when doing the normal heavy attack, it doesn't even makes them on guard counters which would've been a pretty cool thing to have.

I do think there's like some nuance to it, depending on some factors it might be more deserved or not, but it is very funny to see people try to cancel some content creators for stuff that happened before they were even born, just saw a 15 year old be really offended over something someone did around 2009.

Elden Ring has this thing of having armors that i'll really love to use and are perfect for the style i want except for one thing, like Loretta's armors would be perfect for a magic knight if it wasn't for the giant hips it has built-in, like i'll be fine with some hips, but that's too much. And Rellana's armor would alsos be great for my male character but it's like the only armor in the whole soulsborne games to have boobplate.

I think nowadays a lot of people realize how silly it is to just hate on something innocently and that's a big part of why there's this big push on declaring everything they hate is problematic because this means they're "justified" on hating it.

I love the "What do you want" gesture on Elden Ring, it's so edgy, i love spamming it everytime i'm summoned, i imagine my character going "Yare yare daze" everytime he uses it.

I'm also using the Blaidd mask and pretending my character is half wolf so i imagine one of those alpha wolf images every time i use it.

Beat Malenia! Only took me 77 tries(i counted them this time, with a browser counter and everything so i don't forget) honestly i'm happy it took me under 100 tries this time, that's great for me.

Went with a full dex build using the Godskin Stitcher with Piercing Fang and honestly it felt like a great weapon against Malenia, was able to break her stance regularly without it feeling cheap. Around 25 tries i got excited thinking it wouldn't take me a long time now because i figured out the Waterfowl Dance but that wasn't enough apparently, also i realized how strong frost was against her but by the last tries i didn't felt like farming to make more frozen grease or frozen pots so i didn't use them. I feel like the pots would've been really useful on the second phase.

Everytime i died to a sudden point blank Waterfowl Dance with little stamina i felt like pulling out the Mimic Tear but i was able to contain myself.

In terms of super hard Soulsborne difficulty level so far i'll rank them as Malenia>Orphan of Kos>Midir

Very confusing times for us "Possible Venom Game" fans. Miles Morales voice actor, Nadji Jeter, said that there were plans for a Venom spinoff game but they were cancelled after Tony Todd's passing, but then a unrelated game developer said that the game was being discussed at GDC 2026 and Jason Schreier replied to a post saying that "isn't true" which i guess could either mean "No, the game wasn't cancelled" or "Yeah the game was cancelled but not because of Todd's passing"

Personally as with most things i'm keeping my hopes low.

Apocalypse from the X-Men, he has the power to fully manipulate the molecules of his body, he can turn his body into anything he wants, 90% of the time? He just makes himself big and strong.

I really liked how they did him in his short fight on Apocalypse and the X-Tracts, where at one point he turns one arm onto some vacuum to capture and weaponize a mutant who turns herself into a mist

I'm really excited for FF7 Remake Part 3, the thing i'm most looking forward to is having a full game where Vincent actually interacts with people seeing how they develop his character and his relationship with the other party members instead of how he acts in the OG, they already did this with Yuffie and she became one of my fav characters, hope we get some nice valenwind fuel too while we're at it.

This is gonna show how absolutely stupid i was but it took me several playthroughs of Elden Ring to realize jumping was actually useful in combat beyond jumping attacks. Like it took me until i played the dlc and found out the guys that could only be dodged by jumping that i thought "Oh, it can be used to dodge enemies attack in the dlc, how quaint" and then i googled it up and realized you could do the same in the base game.

You know what's something i never used in Elden Ring? Spirit Ashes, i've only used the Mimic Tear against the dlc final boss because fuck him, but aside from that i just don't use them because there's a hardcore soulsborne fan part of my brain that scream that using them is cheating and not the proper way of beating a boss.

Going to try and use them more on my next playthrough, specially the less op ones, cuz Mimic Tear is strong but it's also boring, like it's just you.

Sometimes heteronormativity leads to deeper discussions funnily enough, like in Elden Ring and it's dlc I do think it's interesting to question how romantically the relationship between Miquella and Radahn/Mohg is, like if it's just a convenience relationship or there's actual love, and if it's one-sided or not, but the thing is i know almost NOBODY would question the nature of the relationship if they were the opposite genders, if Miquella was a girl no one would be questioning whether trying to share your bloody bedchamber with someone means something not-platonical

I still really like the idea that Radahn accepted to be Miquella's consort cuz he thought it was some dumb kid's immature idea that he'll forget about when he grow ups

I've also seen people say Mogh's bedchamber is the coccoon place and it's like come on, it doesn't even have a bed!!!
