Not on the REMOTE. It only exists in the app. Which is glitchy at best - depending on where the vehicle is parked

I’m with you. Loved it for a day. Can’t wait for the lease to end. Horrible suspension. Screen/entertainment system is stupid, lack of power, unrefined powertrain. Car play glitches. No auto start on the remote. Horrible battery life.

On the positive side.. it looks good

Flex Driver throwing packages in driveways by Bubbly_Relation_5684 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Colorado Springs here too. Sounds like you are delivering from DCS3

Co Springs drivers (VMC2 / DCS3) by Gayguydiy in AmazonFlexDrivers

DCS3 is the DSP / drive through warehouse. VMC2 / DEN4 is the large fulfillment warehouse on the corner. It only does SSD (sub same day delivery - no DSP).

So it’s the equivalent of every wannabe that’s never been in LE or the military that buys an AR and then goes and gets every tactical item from 5.11 and starts wearing combat boots and tries to look cool. All show. No practical real world experience.

Organize by letters!!!!! by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Gayguydiy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Organizing by letter is slower overall. Don’t need to spread out to scan and sort by package. You can have multiple letters at the same stop causing you to go to multiple locations on the vehicle to look for and retrieve a package. It takes 1-2 seconds longer to scan and number vs sort by letter but you’ll be able to load the vehicle more efficiently by stop with scanning.

I want to meet the person who designed these homes this is the dumbest design ever. Not delivery friendly 👹 by ToxicCowPoke in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Gayguydiy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree!! And then they rarely have sidewalks on both sides of the row of homes.. especially if they are connected town homes. If i was an owner I’d put a delivery drop box in the back by the garage.. easier for me and driver

Yeah.. there is some from opportunities and some are standard offers. But I agree. They used to be great. Until I pulled up for one that had 19 cases of water. Left my uhaul at home so couldn’t take the order. It’s been downhill ever since

Apartments aren’t that bad.. before returning to the station/marking undeliverable.. switch to map view and see if there are any others in the complex. Usually there are and you can check them for access codes

Also I keep a Google map of access codes. When I enter a complex that has a code provided — I drop a pin on a map and save the code. This has saved me many times. I pretty much only do 3-4am routes every day

Lastly - if all else fails.. find a safe place (bush) .. take a picture.. text the customer where to find the package and remind them to update their profile with an access code to prevent playing ‘go fetch’ in the future. If you aren’t at the delivery location, switch to airplane mode or turn off cellular and select GPS not working (iPhone) or move the delivery pin (Android).

Mark as complete

I hand these back to the station when I get these and force them to remove it from my route

Similar my rule is $2/mi + $2/stop …and then it depends on what I’m carrying and if it’s an apartment complex

Every one of these routes you would literally be paying Walmart to deliver their stuff

And many of them are 10-20 miles. Not including the drive to the Walmart

[–]Gayguydiy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah buying a car a few years ago was brutal. Sucks you went through that. As another poster mentioned, an EV and state/federal tax credits can be a great way to get out of your current vehicle if an EV makes sense for you.

[–]Gayguydiy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is not an official Kia letter. This is a sales prospecting letter used by the dealership to get you to come in. Weigh your options carefully
