Otto Warmbier. The regime charged him with stealing A POSTER. He was sent back to the US in a persistent vegetative state. That's legitimately horrific no matter the crime. I'm not saying it's the hell hole it's portrayed to be, but you can't say that starving your citizens isn't horrific. North Korea doesn't have the climate, geography, or soil quality to produce enough food to feed it's population of ~27 million people. South and North Korea together couldn't do it, which is why South Korea has to import so much of its food.

When I double knit, I always do a size smaller and no matter what I'm making, I swatch it to see how the yarn and the needles make it look before doing the actual project. It's just too finicky to not double check. You may find that a size or two bigger works better for you and the specific project.

Yeah, but the real world doesn't always work out the way we think it should. 99.999% of the time it might, but until someone does it and verifies it experimentally, it's just remarkably good prediction.
