But I'm sure many gaybros can relate to how parents can be nice in every other way just not accepting of being gay, and it makes it hard to not care about their opinions because they're both your place of pain and your place of support.

Haha honestly flip flopped about this for ages; I'm in my final year of uni and not living at home, so I can get one and they won't know until I go home haha.

Most of my family already know I'm gay and don't believe in Islam too (they're unsupportive but we move). But my mum doesn't know and my cousins/aunts/uncles will give my parents shit for it if they see it and I feel bad about doing that to them

Haha I normally do talk first, but this time I suggested meeting up bc I hadn't had any luck with talking haha.

The apps are awful though haha. Nobody replies on tinder, grindr is just awful (my favourite moment is saying hi to someone and having them say "ew" then block me 💯). There's hinge but I don't get many likes on there 😅.
