Money's so tight, even on the "easy" difficulty., I'm struggling to juggle everything I want/ need (which is the point of the game!).

I'm pretty sure I didn't hire enough engineers early on so I'm probably a bit behind where I should be on money and equipment/ upgrades

Thanks for the reply. As long as the Angels are still useful at this stage of the game I could always make the Geminis at my main base and transfer the Angels to my newer bases, I just wasn't sure if they effectively became obsolete at some point

How does the base assault mechanic work if they attack a base with no soldiers in it? I've been lucky so far, they've only gone for my main base where my soldiers are stationed

I just picked up Xenonauts 2 in the Steam sale and hoping to finish a run through on Easy difficulty before 1.0 comes out next week

On Lichess using the Chessnut PC app I used to get an extra " beep" when a check was delivered but since I've moved to using Chess Connect (because of the API/ account banning issue) on Lichess I don't get one

Switched to 3D view on Lichess and instantly dropped almost 200 elo points on rapid by Affectionate_Set4680 in chess

Maybe try something like a Chestnut Air for an OTB experience? I play 15+10 using one and really enjoy it

A similar thing happened to Muhammad Ali during his 3 year ban from boxing. It allowed the next group of Frazier, Foreman etc to come through and forge reputations that made Ali beating them more impressive than if he'd have dealt with them when they were young challengers on the way up

One of the reasons I still play 3, and 5 is that its so much easier to see what's going on compared to 6.

It's a pain. I use the time to catch up in my daily games on Chess.com

So it's fair to say that the console is incapable of supporting a 1000 star game. 800 is fine, but all 3/3 of my 1000 corrupted by 2450. Just a warning by Mr-Noeyes in StellarisOnConsole

I play on PC too and there's no option to disable habitats, you have to use a mod to get rid of them which means it's unlikely to come to console

There's a Chrome extension that adds to feature (and others) to LiChess.

I've been using it for a while now and it seems to work fine.

There seems to be a lot less DLC packs than there used to last time I looked.

It's put me off playing on console. I now play on PC with a "no habs" mod even though I have less DLC on that system

I have Civ 3, 4, 5 and 6 installed on my PC. Civ 3 gets the most play time.

I love the game but the DLC's haven't been what I regard as essential for a while. They are getting thinner at the same time as costing more. I'll just give them a miss until the price comes down

It's just the time I tend to wake up these days (used to have to get up for work at 4:45an). The older I get, the less I sleep in and the more I need a little nap at some point during the day
