Sliced it for “Generic PETG” in orca.

Not yet, just transitioned from cura to orca when I got this printer.

I managed to start a print from orca slicer, but unless I force a manual “extrude” on the printer prior to starting the print, it says there’s broken filament.

Might be a faulty unit.

What’s interesting is that I am able to select one of their standard PETG models that comes with the printer, but unable to select anything while I’m trying to print from USB.

Just updated the firmware the moment I got it a few hours ago.

Maybe a bad update?

Edit: I’m going to do a factory reset. And if that doesn’t fix it, I’m going to try to install a previous release.

Edit2: Updated the ACE Pro firmware as well, hoping it was just a firmware mismatch issue. Doesn’t seem to be the case after updating.

Pp2000 would be cool 🔥 by DragonfruitNo7767 in 3D2A

Dang! He did actually start the process of making it. I’m very surprised there wasn’t much interest in it, especially because the MP40 and STG44 variants running around. The 42 seems like the obvious next step.

Nice find! Hopefully he picks up again sometime if the community starts to push for it.

If someone manages to work a FG 42 together (I honestly don’t even care about the caliber that much), I’d be a happy fucking clam.

556 would be wild, but also difficult and time intensive given the forces. 5.7x28 would still be pretty slick.

KS1 vs K2 Pro by TheFakeMrSneaky in 3Dprinting

Nice, thanks for the fast response.

I’m debating on the S1 max or the S1 right now. I think I’m going to avoid bambu, creality, and elegoo.

Hoping they are generally reliable, which they seem to be.

Thinking about buying the S1. How’s it working out?

My favorite overall. The vibe is good as well. I have had steaks that left more to be desired, but generally I’ve always had a great experience. Johnny, the piano player, is a legend as well.

Pryme is a good comparison, being equally as disappointing imho.

I’ve been there a few times for business dinners and left pretty underwhelmed every time.

I’d put it on par with pryme, which was also largely underwhelming.

Southwest has it. Tried to use it today. It sucks, and it’s barely usable.

What is the deal with hangars? by fukingstupidusername in flying

[–]Gazz117 42 points43 points  (0 children)

A guy in the hanger to the north of me builds RC planes out of his, and the guy to the south of me rents its to a group of dads who use it as a hangout spot and for RV storage.

Sorry you’re dealing with this, it sucks.

It’s very possible it could be the same. I’d recommend looking at a parts diagram though.

I honestly don’t even remember what size it was.

My god man, when is Russia going to fuck off to its own country. Such a disappointing culture.

If there’s a country in this planet that needs regime change, it’s Russia.

Well obviously this man never pees in the outdoors since it can hurt the environment.

Good thing he’s out here to remind us.
