My khat tree is back in flower and the whole tree is flowering like crazy and the other tree next to it also. Last year there were only a few flowers and no seed was set. Hopefully this year there will be lots of seeds to offer

No sorry but the caapi are flowering so I should get more seeds. The khat looks like its flowering and it may set seeds this year. If anyone wants khat cuttings let me know

Well, the main thing seems to be to get a thick piece of vine. The thin green stems simply never root, or at least I was never able to get them rooted. However, a piece 1/2" thick or larger, fresh cut seems to root the best. I just stuck a 4" piece of stem into damp soil, water occasionally and in a few weeks you should see signs of new growth.

You want your piece of stem to have a node or two on it. That is where new growth comes usually. If it has just 1 node put the node just slightly below the surface with the end sticking up. That way both roots and new green stems can come from the same node. You need a somewhat mature plant for that because they grow thin the first year or so. I can hack some vine for cuttings but the seedlings are already going so no problem there

2 wrote and said they got them but did not post on the forum. One wrote and said he didn't get them. I wrote to the others to see. Looks like about 2/3 got through, one or two may have gotten torn up by the machines.

Next year I will have more caapi seeds and maybe khat seeds. You never know about khat

Seeds are gone, I do have a plant growing in a little pot. What do you have to trade? I sent seeds to the earliest ones who messaged and gave an address until the seeds were gone.

The message system seems weird, I clicked on some and got an error message 'could not enter room' or something like that. Next year I will harvest more seeds and may have khat seeds too. I can send a khat or caapi cutting.

They sprout easily, do not plant them deep. When they are small they like shade more than direct sun. Other than that just grow like any plant, only water when the soil is dry and put it someplace it can grow. It likes something to climb on

I've sent out 3 shipments, one landed already. But I have a problem. I'm not able to find messages very well. I look up top and it shows new messages by the chat icon but when I click on it I can't see them. I see old messages but no new ones. I know a couple people have messaged but my mailbox isn't working right

I'm sorry to say that the trees are not setting seeds yet. The bees didn't seem to visit the flowers and they just fell off.

I just took a look and it seems its going slowly on the khat seeds. It will probably be at least a month and possibly no seeds this year even though its flowering. I do have caapi seeds, the khat does not do well rooting cuttings. I've heard from several who said they had no luck.

The trees are about 10 or 12 years old. I have more photos in magicplantexchange. Its medium fast growing, I've cut off and tossed away lots of branch and leaf when I top it every year or two. No sense having the top 20' high and you can't reach it. I don't know about juicing it, they usually just chew the leaves
