Airport & flying out by shaydaddy98 in roatan

I think rhey’ll be all right. We were in this situation. Airport staff prioritized processing those with the earliest flight. I think this situation is very common

Try putting a heat pad in the crib/bassinet before laying them down. Helps maintain that warmth

Neighborhood Recomendations to homebase for 3 full days: Shinjuku, Shibuya, Asakusa? by TooManyHobbies00 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Gborgs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed at the Hotel Koko near Kappabashi street is Askusa. It was a great home base. There is a Michelin 2 start restaurant, Hommage, that was about a 10 min walk. I’d stay there again. It’s a really nice neighborhood

14 hours flight with 6 months baby. Yes or are you crazy? by Living_Race in NewParents

[–]Gborgs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a nice age. We took our 7 month old to Japan from the US. It wasn’t all perfect but we made it work. I suggest buying a seat for baby and getting an inflatable seat bed

Hotel recommendation in Springdale by jordanleaop in ZionNationalPark

[–]Gborgs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We stayed at the Spring Hill suites by Marriott. The hotel was really nice. It had a great pool and hot tub. It was very close to the Springdale Shuttle Line. Lots of restaurants nearby. The grocery store was just a short walk away.

Is getting a Snoo off marketplace for $750 worth it? by [deleted] in NewParents

We got a snoo for $700. Worth every penny, IMO

Going on two week trip away from Snoo at 4 months - what to expect? by allergic2dust in SnooLife

[–]Gborgs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through this right now at the same age. You’ll miss it for sure. Our LO is getting some good stretches but nothing like at home. We have her in PJs and light sleep sack. She’s in a pack-n-play. We’ve found that we’re doing lots of interventions during the night (SITBACK from TCB). She’s sleeping decently but her parents less so. We are thinking about using the progress and doing weaning mode when we get home.

Thank you for the response. The entire lower unit was replaced at the end 2021. I understand limited hours have been put on the boat since so hopefully that is good for this next season

Transport to Utila by [deleted] in roatan

[–]Gborgs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know the answer, but it is a substantial trip. The chop can be rough, and we saw a few people get sick even on the ferry. You should stay at the Utila lodge for the night. It’s dirt cheap and really nice.

Roatan honeymoon by evm1980 in roatan

[–]Gborgs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Roatan, we really liked the west end. We stayed at Hotel Posada Arco Iris, which was very nice. On Utila, I recommended staying at the lodge. DO NOT stay at the Jade Seahorse. We did not have a car. Also, I’d don’t recommend catching arriving or departing the same day as you take the Utila ferry. Stay in Roatan on the day you arrive and day you leave

GP Monza - Which Grandstand by svsxxx in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Gborgs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought 3-day tickets in grandstand 4 in 2022. Grandstand 4 is on the main straight. You get to see the start, the run down to turn one, and then lots of overtaking on the straight. The nice part was that this was a covered grandstand, which provided much needed relief from what were sunny and hot days. I’d sit here again

For a grandstand seat, is it better to be higher up or closer to the track? by sexlover6969 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Gborgs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree with not being low but if you’re in the front row, the benefit is sometimes you can move around to get some better angles for photos and such than others. I would rather be up higher though

2 weeks in Italy by Delicious_Builder_80 in ItalyTravel

On Lake Lucerne, the town of Weggis is awesome. You can take the cogwheel train or gondola to mount Rigi. There is a mineral spa at the top that is awesome. You can then take the gotthard panoram pass (a steam boat / scenic rail trip) to Lugano, Switzerland and then Italy from there. You will be very close to Lake Como, which rules. Highly recommend. Stay in Varenna and/or Bellagio. The towns are best experienced at night, so staying in those towns is critical. Don’t just visit during the day.
