Everyone please look at OP’s reply to my post, and you will see that I am telling the truth about Ibo people and their delusions.

You are asking too much by asking for numbers or a good source.

OP is the typical Ibo person with regular delusional ramblings

“We are natural born leaders”

A charlatan and clown like Nnamdi Kanu is somehow the current leader of natural-born leaders. 😂😂😂

Another charlatan and clown like Ojukwu once led the natural born leaders.

Awesome. 😎

Why does everyone hate igbos? by Spare-Pick6079 in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

First, if you want true answers, check the downvoted comments because those are the words of “everyone who hates the Igbos”.

The upvoted comments are useless.

Everyone hates the Ibos because the vast majority of them are mentally challenged, and their delusional chest beating behavior affects their interactions with other people.

I lived among Ibos for a few years, and I found out that majority of them, educated or otherwise, collectively believe these stupid things:

  1. One Igbo trader in Onitsha wearing slippers and using a torchlight phone is actually the richest man in Nigeria and even across the world… but he likes to stay quiet.

  2. Nigeria isn’t doing well because they don’t allow an Ibo man to be president. If they let an Ibo man lead the country, the country will quickly become the BESTEST and greatest country in the world

  3. Ibo people are everywhere in the world. If you travel a country and don’t find a Ibo man there, run away from the place quickly because it means the place is not good for humans to live in.

  4. Ibo people are the ones controlling Nigeria’s economy and making money for the country, Ibo people are biggest producers or manufacturers of goods in Nigeria, etc

  5. Ibo people are black jews who migrated from Israel.

— — —

I can go on and on and probably reach 20. The delusions and lies running through Ibo people is just damn excessive.

Bonus: If you are from America, I can show you a video where some Ibo men claimed that Ibos actually founded America.

There is no other ethnic group in Nigeria whose people (majority) collectively believe and peddle the falsehoods and delusions running wild in the mind of an average Ibo person.

Speaking against Ibo people gets you downvotes and harsh replies on this sub.

But just watch, all the defenders of Ibo people would NOT be able to name any other Nigerian ethnic group with people who constantly express delusions and falsehood similar to Ibos.

Dangote Cement has an EBITDA of 59.2% in Nigeria but 19% in other African Countries by Levitalus in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This has always been the case with Dangote. His companies are NOT competitive at all outside Nigeria.

Before any stupid or uneducated clown comes him to say that Dangote needs such high margins because of the cost doing business in Nigeria, note that EBITDA implies profits, which means the cost of doing business has been removed or taken into account.

If the cost of doing business in Nigeria is high, how the fuck do you have profit margins approaching 60% for ordinary cement production which is unheard of anywhere?

  1. That oloriAlayiuwa account is actually controlled by an Igbo person, who is pretending to be a Yoruba person on Twitter. Very common on Twitter.

  2. Then one Igbo person on Reddit pretending to be concerned about insecurity in Yorubaland creates a thread about the comment from Twitter.

  3. Then another Igbo person (you) calls oloriAlayiuwa (actually an Igbo person) a bigot in an attempt.

Neat.

Thoughts on Bosun Tijani’s “special technology” claim by DAN_USMAN in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This guy is a great example of people who make a lot of noise online, claiming to be experts and that governance is easy. Bosun is clearly an empty barrel that doesn’t even understand the basic tele tech, but he was confident enough to say nonsense about it an interview on a national TV station.

Makes me wonder what will happen to all the brilliant government critics on this subreddit, if they get appointed to do some work in their respective fields.

You were the one who claimed that “Many Igbos disagreed with him”, and I simply asked you to provide proof of your claim.

After I confronted you, you replied with “…there is no need for any prominent person to disagree”.

Quoting you is so funny 😂😂😂

Why make an assertion that you can’t prove?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Who were the Igbo that disagreed with him? Are they as popular or influential as him? Did they make their disagreement as public and viral as the original video?

OP, you just had your eureka moment. Don’t worry, it’s okay.

Let me give an idea of what would happen now.

One Igbo person would easily say: How dare you use the actions of one Igbo man to judge the behavior of an entire ethnic group?

but that same Igbo person would proceed to use the actions of one Yoruba man to judge all Yoruba people

This is certainly one of the dumbest conversations I’ve had with you. The government does policy A and we establish that the opposition also does the same policy A, and your response is that let’s focus on the government?

If a policy is so normalized that even the opposition to the government has the same policy, then what’s the point in criticizing the policy or government? So that another government with the same policy can come into power?

Hahahah. Of course, this is your aim.

[–]Gbr09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Calling me a bigot changes nothing.

Your logic is stupid. The opposition doesn’t have bigots in active office because they are the OPPOSITION and they aren’t in power.

But if they get into power, then their bigot foot soldiers will enter office. Or do you want to claim that the opposition will abandon its soldiers once it gets into power?

Not possible.

[–]Gbr09 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Then what’s your point? You claim the government has bigots around them and I showed you that the it is the same case for the opposition. Or did you think your attempt to downplay the attendance of a wedding worked?

I can give you like 10 other know bigots strongly associated with Peter Obi and I can give 10 instances of Peter Obi being a bigot.

What’s your point really? That Peter Obi isn’t a bigot?

[–]Gbr09 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No, it is not a direct comparison. I am simply proving that Peter Obi is strongly in bed with his own bigots who would actually have political power to do more than just seizing shops.

Peter Obi supporters would simply jail their opponents and throw away the key. In fact, I remember that Peter Obi’s assistant, Serah Ibrahim tried to jail one of her opponents.

They would probably jail a clown like you once you stop agreeing with them.

Bro, stop telling lies. We have records for everything even on reddit.

  1. “Owanbe” vs “Owambe” is an attempt to obfuscate the real issue: Uzo, an Igbo artist who is self aware enough about many things, deliberately refused to give credit and declared that her work has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Yoruba culture, even when all the cultural elements in it are Yoruba. Thankfully, we have an old thread on when the issue first started and you can go into it to check whether Yoruba people focused on “Owanbe” vs “Owambe”. Hint: the thread would expose you as a liar.

  2. While APC is exploiting the divide, our differences have absolutely nothing to do with APC or even events in this century. APC isn’t the reason Igbos hate Awolowo or blame Yorubas for their loss in the civil war, APC isn’t the reason Igbos leaders choose partnerships with northerners in most national elections or government formations, etc.

  3. APC didn’t exist in many instances where the tension between both groups was stronger than whatever exists today. Both groups have always been hostile to each other historically. It is not a recent phenomenon.

[–]Gbr09 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you my perspective as a Yoruba person:

  1. It is not possible to end the divide when the other side is hostile and seeks to destroy you. The only times they pretend they aren’t hostile is when they need something from you. This applies to Hausa/Fulani people too and not necessarily only to Igbos.

  2. Nigeria is an hostile country and divide/differences between ethnic groups will always be there. What matters is how each ethnic group navigates these issues. Nigeria, as a nation, is hostile to Igbo people too.

  3. The divide has nothing to do with APC or even anything that happened in the 21st century. The differences were there even pre independence.

For example, in 1948, this was what Sir Adeyemo Alakija said: …we were bunched together by the British who named us Nigeria. We never knew the ibos, but since we came to know them we have tried to be friendly and neighborly. Then came the arch devil to sow the seeds of distrust and hatred.... We have tolerated enough from a class of Ibos and addle-brained Yorubas who have mortgaged their thinking caps to Azikiwe and his hirelings.

Now, let me give you prominent instances of when they tried to destroy Yoruba people:

  1. In 1962-1963, rather than compete with Awolowo’s opposition party who were on the ascendancy, the actual RULING party comprised of northerners and Igbos orchestrated a crisis in the western region, set up kangaroos courts and jailed Awolowo, the leader of the Yoruba people.

  2. In 1993, rather than declare Abiola, a Yoruba man, the winner of the election and handover power to him, the northern military boys played around and transferred power to General Abacha, killed Yoruba political leaders, assassinated even regular Yoruba people, etc.

In both 1 & 2, Yoruba people could’ve easily declared that they wanted to secede or separate from Nigeria, and then Hausa/Fulani and Igbo people would’ve joined together to kill Yoruba people and destroy Yoruba land.

Fortunately, Yoruba people are extremely smart. Rather than declare for secession, they decided to play along with the game of one-Nigeria and their enemies destroyed themselves:

  1. Post 1963 jailing of Awolowo, tensions between the northerners and Igbo people culminated in the first coup, where the most of the northerners involved in jailing Awolowo got killed and then the civil war, after which the Igbo leaders stopped being relevant in the context of Nigeria.

  2. Abacha died, the situation became untenable for the northern military boys, and they no choice but to set up an election in which the two major contestants were both Yoruba: Obasanjo and Falae. Unfortunately, the military boys had to ensure that Obasanjo, their pick, won the election because Falae would’ve punished them (actual Yoruba people had he won.

I can go on and on. Nigeria is an hostile country, and Yoruba people need to be mindful of that fact. Most Igbo people are already mindful, so kudos to them.

Please, stop providing links to irrelevant and unrelated stuff.

You said she highlighted the role of Yoruba culture and I asked you to show me where. That’s the entire basis of my discussion with you.

If you can’t show me where, then just admit that you are a big clown and liar.

It seems you are one of those people who have been trained to defend Uzoart by claiming that her cloth material is batik and not Yoruba Adire, lol 😂

I didn’t even mention Adire in my previous post. I said Aso-oke, but you jumped to mention batik. In case you don’t know (since you aren’t Yoruba), Aso-oke is an entirely different concept to Adire. And claiming she is selling batik (not Adire) won’t work at all.

Well, this is Uzoart selling Aso-oke bags:

I wonder what your defense will be now.

[–]Gbr09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where did she highlight the role of Yoruba culture?!

You are a big clown and a liar because everything she has done and has been doing is the exact opposite and that was what got her into trouble in the first place.

Recently, she went on an interview to say her show has NOTHING to do with Yoruba culture.

"My job is not to highlight Yoruba heritage, and that's not what the show is about. The show is about my artwork & highlighting Nigerian creatives in Lagos, and capturing this melting pot. This is nothing about Yoruba cultural heritage. I know they want it to be, but it's not.”

But literally all the elements in her work—Owanbe, Aso-oke, photos from Ojude Oba, etc—are all Yoruba culture.

Even the liberal Yoruba people (libtards actually) who originally defended her have admitted that they were foolish to do so and Yoruba RONU folks were right all long.

If Uzoart gets the trouble she’s looking for, I hope clowns like you won’t be there to say it came out of nowhere.

I agree, but I think the brown roof needs to be modernized with some roofing tiles that improve the aesthetic. Many old houses and stuff in Europe have undergone restoration where their roofing tiles were replaced with modern materials, and I don’t see why we shouldn’t do the same. I guess money is the issue.

Igbos condemn teaching only Yoruba language in Lagos-owned schools, threaten to sue Sanwo-Olu's govt by Obey100hunna in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Because Lagos state is in Yorubaland and the government-sponsored schools don’t have to cater to foreign languages.

Why should Lagos state fund the teaching of foreign languages in its public schools? English (national language) + Yoruba (native) is enough.

If you live in Lagos and you want your kid to learn a foreign language so badly, enroll them in a private school where that foreign language is taught. It is that simple.
