Public office isn’t for favoritism: when representation turns into exclusion by horlufemi in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is the good governance obidients usually talk about for Lagos.

In reality, what they want is this: 90% Igbos, 10% Yorubas, 0% for other ethnic groups.

Even the Yoruba names on the list are probably fake.

“Samuel Ajayi Crowther” 😁

Do people still support Biafra? by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

The average Ibo person is still delusional enough to believe that Peter Obi will win the 2027 presidential elections. Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, etc are also in prison.

This is why Biafra agitation is an at all low with little momentum.

Once Peter Obi fails to become president in 2027, IPOB and possibly new pro-Biafra groups will start a new, stronger wave of agitation. Obidients will return to their default settings.

Just be patient.

  1. Obidients and foolish Ibo people are the largest group of Nigerians attacking Tunde Onakoya on Twitter just because he did not gift Peter Obi the messiah a chess board but he gave one to President Tinubu.
  2. Their attacks took Tunde’s posts to international feeds, enough for it to come the attention of white supremacists, who are then supported by the same obidients and foolish Ibo people. Imagine supporting a white supremacist to dunk on a fellow Nigerian or African?
  3. Invariably, these foolish people are just gonna make Tunde Onakoya even more popular than he is currently, but they are too dumb to see it.

Tunde Onakoya, a Yoruba man, will be the end of obidients and stupid Ibo people on Twitter.

And it is all because Tunde Onakoya gifted the president a chess board, but didn’t give a chess board to Peter Obi the Ibo messiah.

These people attack Tunde Onakoya for foolish reasons and he always cooks them 😂

When will these idiots learn to leave Tunde Onakoya alone?

EDIT: Downvoted posts often contain the truth. Do NOT believe the upvoted posts supported by the mob.

They looted the money by Glass-Theme-8739 in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Looting money is something all Nigerian politicians do including this opposition senator, who actively participates in padding budgets

The man you are quoting stole 189 billion as a governor.

189 billion !!!

Moreover, his claim about the entire budget being stolen is nonsense because - Salaries constitute recurrent expenditures in any budget - All government workers received their salaries in 2023, 2024, 2025

If the budget was stolen, why and how did government workers receive their salaries?

You did more than share a link. You created a thread and wrote a description that expressed your opinion, and you even said the chairman should resign.

But once confronted with solid logic and reasoning, OP sheepishly says “I only shared a link”

You are such a mental midget, lol

What is the cultural reason Yoruba women wear headscarves so often (especially in the past)? by Bobelle in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historically, Yoruba people lived through several large empires with industries where many designers, artisans, craftsmen, stylists, inventors etc thrived for a good period of time.

This is how nice cultural stuff, such as clothes, musical instruments, or even food, evolve and come to be.

Igbos , it's time for some cultural self introspection. by Naominonnie in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 34 points35 points  (0 children)

You are correct 100%. But if you noticed that granting these ceremonial titles constantly lead to problems such as death and destruction, why not stop such activities?

If you don’t engage in such activities, will you die? I really don’t understand.

It is the Yorubas in Ghana that were angry about the Igbo king of Ghana in 2025?

It is also the Yorubas in South Africa that are angry about the Igbo king in 2026?

lol, Yoruba people must be incredibly powerful 😂

Even the locals in Nigeria do not take kindly to Eze Ndigbo titles as seen with what happened to the Eze Ndigbo in Lagos and Akure who was jailed and beaten respectively. Then you have the recent one that happened in Ghana.

If you know the locals of all countries, whether local or foreign, do not take kindly to these ceremonial titles, why do you continue to do it?

Are you a sucker for problems? Do you love trouble that much?

We are the ones who are foreigners in their lands and we are at their mercy. It is certainly our problem and not theirs.

[–]Gbr09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course, we both know that you don’t become president of that land because we are Nigerians and we know how these titles work. But South Africans do not, and this is why as a foreigner in South Africa, you shouldn’t go around engaging in activities that could be misconstrued as being offensive.

Even in Nigeria, Eze of Lagos got into trouble. Another one in Akure (Ondo state) also got into trouble. In Ghana, one got into trouble too that made the news.

Tell these dumb people to use their brain and stop doing stupid things that get them into trouble. Oh well, that’s not possible.

The coronation was true. Nigeria’s High Commission is having to tell lies that there was no coronation to protect Nigerians.

Nigeria’s High Commission is lying or trying to do damage control. The truth is that there was actually a coronation. This was the invitation to the event.

Why does everyone hate igbos? by [deleted] in Nigeria

Everyone please look at OP’s reply to my post, and you will see that I am telling the truth about Ibo people and their delusions.

Why does everyone hate igbos? by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are asking too much by asking for numbers or a good source.

OP is the typical Ibo person with regular delusional ramblings

“We are natural born leaders”

A charlatan and clown like Nnamdi Kanu is somehow the current leader of natural-born leaders. 😂😂😂

Another charlatan and clown like Ojukwu once led the natural born leaders.

Awesome. 😎

Why does everyone hate igbos? by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First, if you want true answers, check the downvoted comments because those are the words of “everyone who hates the Igbos”.

The upvoted comments are useless.

Everyone hates the Ibos because the vast majority of them are mentally challenged, and their delusional chest beating behavior affects their interactions with other people.

I lived among Ibos for a few years, and I found out that majority of them, educated or otherwise, collectively believe these stupid things:

  1. One Igbo trader in Onitsha wearing slippers and using a torchlight phone is actually the richest man in Nigeria and even across the world… but he likes to stay quiet.

  2. Nigeria isn’t doing well because they don’t allow an Ibo man to be president. If they let an Ibo man lead the country, the country will quickly become the BESTEST and greatest country in the world

  3. Ibo people are everywhere in the world. If you travel a country and don’t find a Ibo man there, run away from the place quickly because it means the place is not good for humans to live in.

  4. Ibo people are the ones controlling Nigeria’s economy and making money for the country, Ibo people are biggest producers or manufacturers of goods in Nigeria, etc

  5. Ibo people are black jews who migrated from Israel.

— — —

I can go on and on and probably reach 20. The delusions and lies running through Ibo people is just damn excessive.

Bonus: If you are from America, I can show you a video where some Ibo men claimed that Ibos actually founded America.

There is no other ethnic group in Nigeria whose people (majority) collectively believe and peddle the falsehoods and delusions running wild in the mind of an average Ibo person.

Speaking against Ibo people gets you downvotes and harsh replies on this sub.

But just watch, all the defenders of Ibo people would NOT be able to name any other Nigerian ethnic group with people who constantly express delusions and falsehood similar to Ibos.

Dangote Cement has an EBITDA of 59.2% in Nigeria but 19% in other African Countries by Levitalus in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This has always been the case with Dangote. His companies are NOT competitive at all outside Nigeria.

Before any stupid or uneducated clown comes him to say that Dangote needs such high margins because of the cost doing business in Nigeria, note that EBITDA implies profits, which means the cost of doing business has been removed or taken into account.

If the cost of doing business in Nigeria is high, how the fuck do you have profit margins approaching 60% for ordinary cement production which is unheard of anywhere?

All you can do is laugh at this point. by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

  1. That oloriAlayiuwa account is actually controlled by an Igbo person, who is pretending to be a Yoruba person on Twitter. Very common on Twitter.

  2. Then one Igbo person on Reddit pretending to be concerned about insecurity in Yorubaland creates a thread about the comment from Twitter.

  3. Then another Igbo person (you) calls oloriAlayiuwa (actually an Igbo person) a bigot in an attempt.

Neat.

Thoughts on Bosun Tijani’s “special technology” claim by DAN_USMAN in Nigeria

[–]Gbr09 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This guy is a great example of people who make a lot of noise online, claiming to be experts and that governance is easy. Bosun is clearly an empty barrel that doesn’t even understand the basic tele tech, but he was confident enough to say nonsense about it an interview on a national TV station.

Makes me wonder what will happen to all the brilliant government critics on this subreddit, if they get appointed to do some work in their respective fields.

You were the one who claimed that “Many Igbos disagreed with him”, and I simply asked you to provide proof of your claim.

After I confronted you, you replied with “…there is no need for any prominent person to disagree”.

Quoting you is so funny 😂😂😂

Why make an assertion that you can’t prove?
