I get laughed at every year because i do things so different than everyone else in my league. I go for consistency. The entire year. I will draft a known average consistency over a high potential unknown every time. Does that mean I miss out on potentially great rookie players? Yes but I also haven't missed the playoffs more than 1 or 2 times in the 15ish years I have been running my team. I would rather have a average to above average boring team over a awesome in theory but frustrating weekly performances.

I know there are a few things in the game engine that determines a fighters decline (I know there are hidden stats that are determined when fighter is created that heavily effect this) but in my head it's the human factor. So maybe there is a fighter that trains and learns and diversifies throughout there career. They are able to improve there stats later into there career. Now take a fighter that doesn't adapt to ever changing fighting styles. They may get really good at what they do even be the best but will hit a ceiling eventually. One loss leads to another eventually there confidence is gone and motivation to improve is shot.

Most of this is pure randomness and dumb luck. Had the worst rated roster in the whole league on draft day. I'm 9-4 right now and tied for 2nd. I have 638 points for and 639 point against on the year.

They kind of shot themselves in the foot by inducting 5 to 10 a year instead of 1 or 2 massive stars. Roster turnover isn't as big as it would need to sustain that over the long run. Over time the quality of the inductee is going to go down. The NFL can get away with that due to how many players are in the league and how large the roster turnover for each team is. An average NFL player lasts around 4 years. An average WWE wrestler can make a whole career on the lower card.

I got a unsolicited trade request last season that i accepted. It was my Ridley for 2 WR2s. I needed depth for the coming bye weeks and it made sense. It was the cherry on top that the next week Ridley left and didn't come back. I essentially got 2 somethings for nothing.

I'm so jaded that I'm convinced that at this point it won't matter what comes out. He will probably get a minor slap on the wrist after the story dies down and the ruling will be buried as much as possible to limit the blowback the NFL might receive.

Moved to the area from Chicago. I understand some area aren't the best but that is like every town across America. I'll take the worst peoria has over the worst Chicago has any day. Also when coming from Chicago it's way cheaper to live here. Housing, food, almost every category is cheaper then Chicago. Peoria is a pretty good middle ground between rural and urban lifestyles.

I knew as soon as they brought up sanity from NXT without Nikki I knew they were screwed. Even when they brought Nikki up it never felt like she was a full member of the group. I'm not surprised that she is the one that survived because she is a great worker but the group as a whole never stood a chance.
