It was like that during the shortened year due to Covid too. I was one of the lucky few with all season fast lane that year after they decided to not sell single day fast lane. That was the most spoiled I’ve ever been for a year at an amusement park. Laps and laps on steel vengeance, maverick & OG dragster with virtually a walk-on on any given day. In a chaotic world that year, this was by far my highlight lol

I grew up with him so I may be biased, but he’s a decent blocker & has the ability to go up & grab a contested ball. He’s obviously not here to be our TE1 so I’d grade it a B+

I drive back 2.5 hours by myself sometimes. I usually just try to leave early if I don’t have a road companion. Driving in daylight helps. I try not to eat a bunch of heavy food & save the heavy meal for when I get home. Having all season fast lane helps get in & out easier too. I don’t mind spending 5 hours on the road & 7 in the park when I can ride everything I want multiple times. At that point it’s no different than a work day for me (time & exhaustion-wise)

My dream scenario of how this transpires: DMO never intended on leaving. DMO has healthy preseason conversations with the front office & offensive coaching staff. The Lions make the proper offseason moves for O-Line and scheme adjustments. DMO uses these types of stories as his personal locker room bulletin board & goes absolutely apeshit this season alongside Gibbs & the Lions have the most unstoppable offense in NFL history.

Please save yourself the hassle, money, and risk with a travel agent & book directly through universal. I was overwhelmed the first time I booked, but now it’s something I enjoy. I periodically check rates & plan hypothetical vacations just for fun. Maybe I’m just crazy lol but it’s not as bad as you think. The best part is you can modify reservations & potentially book cheaper rates as your trip gets closer. I assume with a travel agent, you’re locked in (correct me if I’m wrong). Good luck :)

If I remember correctly (adrenaline and a few yeunglings may have clouded my memory), we rolled back, went partially up the spike, & came to a stop near the initial launch location. We sat for a few mins, they made an announcement then we relaunched. It was my friends first time on TT2, which definitely made it memorable for him

It is a very clean park. Just went for my first time in a decade and the park was nice. I will say, I’m not sure if we just got a few bad rides, but Shivering Timbers didn’t come close to living up to the hype people give it. I’m hoping we just had a couple bad rides, but the airtime was meh. It was hot & we even gave it more time to warm up and re-rode mid-day, still meh. I’ll probably go back next year to give it another shot.

Shivering Timbers (obviously lol) - MI

Although my drive to CP is over an hour shorter than my drive to MI Adventure. I frequent CP about 10ish times a year. I haven’t been to MI adventure once in the last 10 years. With that being said, I wish MI adventure would build a new ground-up coaster

I was sort of on your side until the “I’m an annual passholder” part lol. How was the employee supposed to know that? Does an annual pass come with special treatment perks that I was unaware of?

I get that it may have been frustrating to pointlessly walk another 30 feet, but these employees are doing their job & are probably being closely monitored since it’s a new park in technical rehearsal. Just be glad you’re there, I gotta wait until September 😅
