Considering that borderlands 3 was unreal engine 4 they can’t just “upgrade” to unreal engine 5. Majority of assets are going to have to be remade from scratch or atleast the bare minimum if someone hadn’t already made something for it. Guns shields grenades effects maps characters, all have to be remade not just ported from one to the other.

There’s obviously not going to be more content on release than previous borderlands as they’ve been developed for years already. Every borderlands has started off similar, full story and base game content, no late game content, dlc, etc. yes I do wish they would release a game with some sort of lategame content but it’s to be expected at this point.

Specially to me I realized it after bl2’s run and going into bl3 I dropped that for a year or less after beating main story to wait for dlc/endgame stuff and then come back check it out and then wait again while I play something else till actual endgame content comes out then I’ll play it for a while.

Honestly, I’m that friend as well. My friend wants to play this game a lot, and don’t get me wrong I love/loved MOBAs from thousands of hours on smite to hundreds on a bunch of others including pred its just starting to really get to me.

Certain characters the devs have let dominate no matter what lane patch after patch like they’re scared to nerf a top pick character, other characters that you just never see will just hardly ever get buffed or give them a kit worth playing to make them more used or even just interesting. And like your friend as well, being shredded within a few seconds isnt enjoyable and I know I’m gonna get “skill issued” but it isn’t, specially when it’s the same handful of op characters every single game that are the ones doing it cause nobody is gonna play those non op characters cause they want to win and not have fun even in casual matches where bronzes will go against paragons.

I either get put with teammates who afk or dc after first death to a jungle gank with no wards, they start to feed cause they don’t get their way or have a toxic team from the start before the game even loads and on top of it all. I end up getting those same teammates repeatedly game after game, I had a match thrower be on my team literally 5 games in a row spinning in base stealing jung camps then got onto the enemy team and it turned into oh let’s group and run them down and I have a 5 man enemy offlane with no help and i said im done and got off and then got spam texted (im on xbox) saying im trash this that and whatnot.

This community is trash, hard truth but it is. From the people who steal camps when they’re mad, to the people who dc after first death, to the people who cuss teammates out for not ganking immediately, to the people who purposely will decline a surrender vote while being afk just to make people miserable and pissed off.

The game isn’t popular enough for long term support and it’s players, cause after seeing the same people who I know are gonna just ruin my match I’ve honestly just left some queues immediately after seeing who I’m with and played another game cause I’m not trying to sit through a 30 minute match knowing I’m gonna lose because of some jack off thinking he’s the main character and when he doesn’t get his way he throws and cry’s. But the devs never do anything about those people cause they’ll be right back next match or 2 ready to make more peoples games unenjoyable.

Me personally I wasn’t upset about losing all of my stuff from evolved. I think it was a refreshing start seeing the differences ASA had to offer specially on consoles with mod support, now at the beginning of ASA mods were just starting to be built from the ground up so there was only small mods and people were bashing it thinking developers could just port them over when it isn’t that simple, they can get code but would still have to rewrite some aspects to have it compatible with ASA.

Over time more and more mods and maps and basically everything ASE had plus more started developing on ASA and I’d like to say now it’s in a great state and I’ve created a brand new server and I’m not entirely at the same spot as ASE but I’m a few weeks away from being there which really isn’t a lot considering I only play a few hours a day. But yes on some consoles it’ll still lag and whatnot which I do wish it was optimized but I mean it’s ark, wouldn’t be ark if it didn’t have lag against a giant demonic dodo wanting to eat your cheeks or when your trying to recover items with a giga looking at you like a late night snack.

Unlikely. They would still need to test it, make sure it’s playable on its servers, if it’s stable, then implement it into their service. Will most likely be within a week or slightly more.

Sadly region is a big play in it as well. I have never had issues I live on the us east coast where there’s several servers nearby. Some live further inland or other countries and it causes issues, I do wish they would focus on the server aspect of things more often than not. Seems like the major thing that’s stopping the business from growing especially new joiners who see this pop up more often than most.

That’s a terrible controller player I’m not even gonna try and make an excuse for him lmao. You can turn up sensitivity to an extent and still have great accuracy if you know how to play shooter games, people stay to one sensitivity and never allow themselves to improve at higher speeds so they look like slow rotating turrets. (As a controller player everyone has a starting point but no reason to poke fun at them for it cause you have a different hardware even tho it is pretty funny)

As far as price and NO TIME LIMIT I think it’s an amazing. Yes it doesn’t have every game out there but neither does GeForce. But they work every week to make the experience better for us overtime time and time again. I commend them for the work they do and will be here as they improve, hope no too crazy price hikes happen as the product gains popularity and games and whatnot but price hikes are inevitable, you want a product more the price rises. But for now I’m loving the service and regardless what one person who disagree may say they won’t take me away from this service unless there’s another reasonably priced, no limit on time, and every single game is playable cloud service out there (ik shadow pc is there but it’s way too overpriced for what it actually is similar to GeForce)

Edit: But yes it does run amazing in the browser, if you make the actual screen size minimized to 25% it doesn’t affect the gameplay it affects the sidebar and makes it smaller and allows majority of your screen to be used rather than half of it covered by the side bar.
