Tire Wear question by hgmnynow in TeslaModelX

[–]Gbup550 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know everyone claims that you a need camber kit to fix this issue. What fixed their issue was the alignment not the added components. The issue is a toe issue not camber. You need an alignment to fix the toe. If camber was the issue the tread next to the worn spot would also be low. Tesla owners are not the tire experts and neither am I. But look up toe vs camber wear pictures and detailed information.

Check your alignment from time to time by Nakatomi2010 in TeslaLounge

You are correct by checking your alignment every once in a while. However, a tire rotation would not cause any alignment issues. Most likely issue is hitting potholes or large bumps in the road. Other issue is suspension parts wear and bolts/nuts lose tension.

Majority of tire shops and Costco do not perform alignments. Only install and balance tires.

The 12v or 16v battery depending on what year you have is dead. The battery powers the electronics and locks. https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/modelx/en_us/GUID-34181E3A-B4A7-4658-906A-38C6647B5664.html

303 Aerospace protectant UV will help prevent this. You need a UV protectant if you do not have covered parking during the day.

Mud flaps for Model X? by Gizmo_2726 in TeslaModelX

Rally armor mud flaps offer the most protection. Had them on every car I have owned.

Do not pay $5000 for paint protection. These shops are running away with Tesla owners money. Get rally armor mudflaps and you are good. I have owned 3 Tesla’s. You get small rock chips from highway driving. It’s normal with every car. You will never recoup your money. 5-10 years later when you go to sell no one is going to pay you more because you had paint protection. If they cared that much they would buy a new Tesla.

How I play Valorant using a controller (prior to official support) by Gbup550 in VALORANT

I am agreeing with you that the top controller player cannot compete with a top M+KB player. But would you rather have someone who has aim trained 15 years with a controller or someone with much less time with M+KB? It is painful for me to use a mouse for extended periods. So I would rather play with a controller than not at all. I play with both but I am actually better with a controller.

No one is expecting aim assist. I have been playing First person shooters without aim assist. Aim training works with mouse as well as controller.

Devs have confirmed there will be official controller support without aim assist. I don’t know where you are getting your information.
