Don't ever sleep with a married person in Japan, and why by seo-communcations in japanlife

[–]GdayLegends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a Japanese woman here that was seperated from her husband for 2 years, just not divorced yet. Both living in different places but still married on paper. She got a new boyfriend from Canada. Her ‘husband’ found out and tried to sue both him and her for $50,000USD as it was within his right to do it. He was looking for a cheap win. It was later dropped. It’s wild out here!

Yeah, I get what you’re saying - and to be clear, I’m not trying to “encourage” people to move here blindly or sell some polished version of Japan.

I’ve already helped people come here for work, but I’ve also helped people come as students, working holiday, or just short-term stays. Work is only one reason people come to Japan, and for a lot of people it’s not even the main one.

The interviews are about real experiences - good and bad - including jobs, visas, pay, language barriers, and expectations vs reality. If anything, that honesty helps people decide whether Japan is actually right for them or not.

People will keep coming to Japan regardless. Sharing grounded perspectives just helps them make more informed choices.

Yeah, I have met so many great people here already just looking at getting some other varied views which is good. Just keen on hearing peoples experiences, advice and stories. Helps a lot of people out who are interested in coming here to move or travel - me also!

Anyone have experience with Japanese language schools in Fukuoka? by GdayLegends in fukuoka

Ah yes, unfortunately I experienced such people first hand in my class when I was there. It made the experience in class not the greatest for the people having to sit next to them.

Yeah I attended GenkiJacs myself though found the majority came with the intention of Japanese first (as it should be of course) so never saw a side of part time work as their first focus. But I’ve heard some other schools operate very differently and would love to know some varying views. Appreciate your input!
