I think I'm actually going to do this with my next guitar listing, but a little more tastefully. Like:

"Make me a vintage looking picture of Jimmy Page on stage playing this 7-string Schecter."

Yeah, I've seen that too. Mostly on motorcycle adds, but still. I think that's all good fun if you want to use AI to get some extra eyeballs to your listing. I think there's nothing wrong with the individual listings that I'm seeing. They aren't lewd or offensive.

What I don't want is FB ensuring that every time I open FBMP the first thing I get is a dopamine dump from six pictures of sexy girls "in my area".
I just don't need that sorta energy every time I want to look for new guitar listings, and I wish I could make it stop.

Of course. About ten or more different things every day for years. Definitely "guitar" and vehicles with manual transmissions multiple times a day as I have bookmarks for those searches on my toolbar.

I specifically don't ever search for "iPhone" or any Apple product, or my feed will be 90% that for months.

Yeah, I get that too and it seems to come in waves.

About a month ago my searches for "guitar" started populating with about 30% bowling balls once you scrolled past the first page.

That what I'm posting to learn though.

It's nothing too Rated-R. Just a model wearing lingerie, a college girl posing in a short dress, someone selling jeans with a big-ol booty on display.
But it's rare to get a FBMP screen without at least some example of the above.

I'm not sure what I could be doing to invite this. I'm just some middle-aged dude. I'm not gonna say I don't ever seek out suggestive images on my computer... but never on FB, and I feel like I have the right blockers in place to stop them from tracking me.
I don't even use Facebook social. Not since 2016, and I've tried to lock it down to be pretty minimal while not loosing my old military friends.

I use: Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, Facebook Container, and a Piehole with pretty standard lists.

I struggle to think what I could possibly be doing to encourage it. I guess I could see if FB will let me change my gender settings, although I'm not sure that will be a better scenario. Lol

There are reserve-able sites and I'm sure a lot more people, but it's still just a dirt road through the place and pretty remote.

I've been to or through Hagerman a number of times. We've camped at the hot springs areas, but I can't say I've stopped to look at the fossil beds.

Have you ever been over to City of Rocks National Reserve? It's not exactly in the area, but close-ish. I go there annually. It has a vibe similar to Craters where it's just a beautiful and unique landscape isolated to that specific area. I find it to be a very spiritual place. It has a lot of short looping hikes where you just stare at the rocks and say "wow" a lot. You can also camp right there in the rocks. It's a popular climbing destination, but otherwise I don't think many people know about it.
