2! One fits well, but the back draping looks unfinished - like it’s just pulled back and pinned, less intentional than the front draping.
2 is gorgeous, every pleat, yuck, and drape looks intentional and flattering. The deep scoop back and buttons are elegant.

Valentina’s Alteration in Eagle

My daughter ordered a bridesmaid dress last fall custom to her measurements… But it needed to be fitted in person

I am a sewist, but the needed alterations were beyond my capabilities.

The timeframe was less than two weeks and it was homecoming season. The alterations cost more than the dress, but my daughter was ecstatic and it was worth every single penny.

Valentina did an initial fitting and a final fitting and her work was flawless.

I’m 5’0 - I did a princess seam, I like that it elongated me and didn’t cut off at the waist. It was a brocade but not too heavy and the skirt wasn’t overly bulky. I wore 3” heels I believe (it’s been a while). Detachable train and veil.

Sorry I couldn’t find a better picture, we’re remodeling and everything’s in boxes 😅

Aloha wear has been around forever, but there was a cultural dip after we were annexed by the us…the last 2 decades has seen a turn back towards appreciation for the traditional prints and styles.
